It is with sadness that we announce the passing of GFUL Life Member John Hilder.
John umpired across three states, and all disciplines in a journey that started in 1974.
Despite having retired from umpiring, he remained around the club - recently making an appearance at one of our monthly meal nights.
His funeral will be on Friday August 23 at 1.30pm at Lumen Christi Catholic Church in Leopold.

MOVIES ABOUT GRIEF FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Are you supporting a child or young person who has been bereaved? Sometimes watching a movie can help children and young people better understand and process grief and dying. My Grief Assist have a list of films that explore the emotions of losing a loved one. We suggest watching these movies with your child and utilising the themes in the movie, as conversation starters with the child or young person. Commonsense media also has very specific information about particular themes which are present in each movie, so better informed choices can be made about the movies suitability for your circumstances.
