The animals playing pool etc have come a long, long way lol I’m a classics girl but also love things that are different and even a little out there. The bull and gorilla have been attracting attention in the doorway so they mightn’t last long. I missed out the leopard in the last pic this time but I’ve ordered one and it will be here in September. A couple of of these are now out of stock too so I was lucky to get them. I think they’re due around the same time. They’re 90x 60cm with a gold metal frame and are resin coated so all the embellishments stay on and in place. The high gloss finish gives a glass look without the price tag.

Fashion for the wall too - complimenting the book boxes complete with glitter accents. 80x80cm hand brushed with timber frame and backing. Two more in the series which are slightly smaller are due in September.

The library corner - new expanded selection of classic fashion book boxes are proving popular yet again. Great decorator items and a stylish place to put remotes on the coffee table. Good for hiding things too 🤫 Colourful and contemporary world destination ones are due in September.

The first of this week’s new artworks went to a new home today after being up only 2 days. Wow! The stunning Angel Wings is 120x80 cm painted timber framed and backed canvas. The supplier is now out of stock but they are expecting the new run at the start of September at this stage so it can be ordered. Deposit required.

My helper is back on deck today for normal Saturday hours.

It’s very, very rare that I don’t open but one of my Friday helpers is out of action for a day or maybe two and I have my other job commitment. All is good though and will post tomorrow as to opening or not.

They’re all beautiful with Champagne and Strawberries being the most popular in the candles so I’ve sold out. I have the diffuser in my car and it’s amazing. Mum has and loves the Japanese Honeysuckle in hers.

Should’ve ordered more.…… The skull and cobalt sarape/blanket have now sold. I have a black and a turquoise sarape still available. The colours refer to the ones used in the biggest stripe with cobalt and turquoise proving the most popular of what I’ve had. They’re hand loomed in Mexico so each one is unique and the make up of the other colours can vary between orders.

Hope everyone enjoyed today whether it be celebrating and being spoiled yourself and/or catching up with your mothers and grandmothers. It’s also a time for some to reflect and remember those who are unfortunately no longer with us.

Many of you have met my mum when she’s on duty in here with dad and I thank her for everything she’s done and does for me. 💐
