I am still alive 💕 2023 has been one of the hardest years to endure yet, but I’ve almost made it!

I have been full time carer, survivor and tutor this year but my heart is still in my dream, my art, my creativity. It hasn’t died yet!

For those who have stuck by my seemingly dead ish account and not unfollowed due to inactivity - THANK YOU

This is such a key part of supporting disabled and neurodivergent artists as we often fail to be consistent in content uploads as live is a barrage ever-fluctuating waves of endurance and reprieve.

I’ve been hyperfixating on lately and it’s keeping me sane :) my dream is to create more wholesome and light hearted content going forward 💕

It’s helping me survive, so that’s a win :)

Enjoy a random picture of a doodle I did while out with the family getting McDonalds. It’s our thing to go get McDonald’s sometimes and all bring our sketchbooks to draw together 💕

These are the moments I cherish beyond all others :)

This time around it’s my beloved Misato from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
I love digital so much for its flexibility and now I’m finally happy with this piece. 🥰

I’ll be selling limited edition A5 prints this weekend. Later down the line I might sell bigger ones on my store if anyones interested 🥰

I wanted to make more cute little positive affirmations to hopefully brighten your day 🙂
I know I already did a a quote recently but I couldn’t help feel inspired to create something from a rather old prompt they had. It just resonated with me 🙂

I made this especially for the exhibition “Still Here” which opened a few days ago and will be running for a month 🙂
All proceeds of every sale from the exhibition goes towards the great work of 💕

Happy PRIDE month 🌈

I know technically pride month is mostly an American thing, but pride is still so fundamentally important to June in Australia! The first Gay Mardi Gras was held as a peaceful protest on one cold night on 24th June 1978.

And while we have many, many long ways to go, it’s great to celebrate how far we have come.

Remember you are beautiful, valid and perfect just the way you are.

I made this design for all the homophobes in my life. I slapped it on a badge and I wear it with pride 🥰 The gayer the better. Gay it on up in here lol

Long time no post! What’s new? 🫠
Who else loves the Final Fantasy 7 Remake?
It’s been out for quite a while now and I’ve well and truly platinumed that game now, but I just wanna dive in and start playing it again! I’m addicted to how beautiful the graphics, acting and mood is 😭

Do I ship Aerith and Cloud? Hell yes. No secret. I am certainly team Clerith lol do I think their relationship would be canon? Nooooo 😭 But please let me believe!

School Holiday Workshops are back in full swing!

It's beyond amazing that we can finally hold workshops again after all our Covid lockdowns of the past years.

I've had a hiatus since end 2019 doing workshops and my heart feels so happy knowing that we can keep these rolling on from now on!

Last week we saw our Easter craft workshops. We had so much fun making goodies

Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates (and happy public holiday to those who don't haha)!!

For our Easter workshops last week Clare and I drew up colour in sheets for the kids. It was so much fun I had to keep going and colour it in too lol
It makes me realise I need to draw more bunnies. They're the cutest!!

I've lived my life through the lens of invisible disabilities and when people can not see your disabilities it can be extra difficult to navigate this world.
People assume you can do the same as others and you feel like you are constantly having to prove you are "sick enough" when every day always involves some level of struggle or pain.

I don't mind that others have it easier. I really don't. All i can hope for is that we grow as a society and learn to love and respect our differences and honour the limitations some people have with respect and without judgement. Lets be kinder to each other :)

Product spotlight!

New art! Finally!

This piece was done for the current exhibition at Geelong Illustrators "Like a Version 2.0" which is where we do our own original versions of famous art by famous women.

Initially I assumed I should redraw something very "fine art" and classical, but does it get more iconic than Naoko Takeuchi?!
Takeuchi created my beloved sailor moon - which just turned 30 years old! Crazy, huh?

I spent ages on this piece, hand drawing it with prisma color pencils and painting it in watercolour by Kiritaki Gansai Tambi

Tonight’s the Geelong Illustrators Like a version 2.0 Opening Night!

In this exhibition we are all showing our versions of famous womens art through history! Happy international womens day!

I have done my version of Naoko Takeuchi’s first ever drawing of sailor moon! Did you know sailor moon celebrated its 30 year anniversary recently!?

I hope to see you there tonight 5:30pm - 7:30pm!
