This cold weather is making us all crave a classic Roast Dinner.

And we think you can't go wrong with our Rolled Pork Loin!

To cook:
- Pre heat oven to 200º Fan forced.
- Make sure crackle is dry, pat dry with paper towel if needed. then add salt and oil.
- Cook roast at 200 for 20-30 minutes or until rind crackles.
- Reduce heat to 180 and cook for 45 minutes hour per kg.
- Remove from oven and rest for 10 – 15 mins covered with foil.
- Carve and serve

Winter is the perfect time to cook a hearty beef casserole, so we're excited to share one of our favorite recipes. This super easy and simple slow cooker beef casserole is perfect for those busy days and cold winter nights. Feel free to customise it by adding or swapping out any flavours you like. 🥘😋

𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱:

Prep the Vegetables and Meat:
Dice the carrots, potatoes, onion, and green beans.
Place the diced vegetables, mushrooms, and cubed beef into the slow cooker pot.
Add minced garlic, mixed herbs, soy sauce, salt, pepper, tomato paste, beef stock, and diced tomatoes.

Slow Cook:
Place the pot in the slow cooker and set it to low.
Cook for 6 hours.

Add Rice:
At the 5.5-hour mark, add rice and water to the pot. Use roughly double the amount of water to rice. If needed, add more water later.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked.

Thicken the Sauce:
Just before serving, add gravy to the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.

Serve:
Serve the casserole over rice with some nice, soft bread.
