Meet Ash, one of our Swimming Instructors at GAC who you might meet in one of our Saturday classes.

During the week she works as an Early Childhood educator, and in her spare time she trains and competes in a strength sport called Strongwomen.

Earlier this month, Ash had her first win in the ASA Beauty and the Beast 2024 competition.

Your bright attitude and application to your swimming has paid off. Elsie has been looking like a superstar as she does excellent Freestyle and Backstroke down the pool! Keep up the great work! 🏆🥳

🌟 Look who's Swimmer of the Week! 🌟

Ben has come a long way, from facing sensory challenges with putting his nose in the water to know being able to dive right down to the bottom of the pool with his snorkel mask! 🥽

Just recently he's even managed to break a brand new personal record, swimming 3m of torpedo in just one breath! 🏆

Way to go Ben!! 🎊🥳

🐸🌟 Frog Kick champion Alice, has made it to being Swimmer of the Week this week! Congratulations Alice!!

After swimming with Jordyn for almost 2 years, Alice has mastered her Breaststoke kick and also worked hard to become a great diver.

The hard work and dedication has paid off Alice, keep smashing those goals!! 🏆

CONGRATULATIONS JUDE AND APRIL!!!

Jude is swimmer of the week this week due to his resilience and determination. He was falling behind the rest of his swimming class last year, but he focused and put in the hard work in order to catch right back up. Now he's swimming like a natural!

April is swimmer of the week this week for her bravery in overcoming her fears of water. She is no longer needing to hold on to her instructor Emilie for support, she is submerging right under the water and swimming independently instead!

Liam is Swimmer of the Week! 🌟

Congratulations Liam on your incredible swimming so far this term! Liam started lessons this year being fearful around the water due to a past experience, but has overcame those fears in less than 2 months. He is now putting his whole face in to blow bubbles, floating, and kicking all by himself. Keep up the great work Liam! 🥳🏊

We are bringing back our termly racing carnivals! 🥳

At the end of each term this year we will be holding a racing carnival for any current swimmers between levels 3A to Squad to compete in.

This is a great opportunity to make new friends and to work towards developing a faster stroke in lessons so you can improve your best time! 🏁🏊‍♂️🏆
