A little HBC history... In 1998 off the shores of Airlie Beach, Hog's Breath Cafe hosted the Hobie 16 Worlds. With 27 countries represented over 250 entrants competed for the title of Women's, Youth, Master's and Open Champion. It was the biggest one design sailing regatta held in Australia at that time.
After the event the catamarans were packed up and sent to different locations, this one made it to Gladstone to continue the "Hobie way of life"!
