Ah, memories, sweet memories...
A little ditty recalling a very different kind of Christmas for Longshanks and me.
After decades of the summer swelter that the Australian season offers, it was nice to see and feel something rather different.

And first out of the gate for the new year is this poster and run.of gigs at the Dogs Bar.
I whipped it up this morning.
I'll have my usual ragtag bunch of miscreants on side. Peterj Mav on double bass, Peter Robertson has the beats in hand and, the redoubtable and dynamic Dave Hogan sucking and blowing on his blues harp.
Also, Tony Burn and quite possibly young Christian Foyle ... you never know. I'm often surprised myself.

From NYC to St Kilda and the Dog's Bar in less than a week...
It was great over there and it's great to be home. They say that home is where the home is, if that is true, then my heart is all over the goddamn world.
The flight back was epic, with so much turbulence that I discovered god more than a few times, lol... nothing brings you closer than being thousands of feet in the air in a tin can being buffeted by the elements.
