To celebrate the 1st of March our resident Welsh ‘Sue’ chef has made a lovely fresh batch of Welsh cakes!! Happy St David’s day!!

After what was a very successful Australia Day, we cannot forget to highlight today’s Fadden Feature.

This week we shine a spotlight on not one but two commendable groups making a positive impact in our community.

Driftwood at The Point not only enriches our community with their welcoming staff and outstanding service, but also generously hosts a knitting and crochet group from Paradise Point.

These local enthusiasts gather at Driftwood where they conduct weekly knitting sessions. The group then kindly donate their creations to children’s hospitals, homeless shelters and those in need. What an amazing initiative.

Happy St David’s day for the first day of March. To celebrate the day our very own Welsh ‘Sue chef 😉’ has been busy baking off a fresh batch of Welsh cakes, which will be on the counter to kick off St David’s day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hi guys and gals…. We had a bank card handed in at the counter today. Possibly a customer or walker doing the point walk. 👍👍

Hi guys and gals! As you may be aware, we have a Wednesday Knitting crew that donate their time to create some lovely pieces of clothing and toys which are passed on to those in need.

This week they have decided to shelve the wool to participate in share the dignity Christmas initiative. These awesome ladies will be organising all our donations and putting into gift bags ready to be delivered to Bunnings, who are the collection point for this coming Wednesday.

If you wish to donate, simply swing by and drop off any of the below items to the cafe and our Wednesday Driftie knitting crew will take it from there!!!
