Such an amazing morning spent with amazing people in our first co-operative meeting! Thank you to our founding members for your contribution. We can't wait to build a community and support people to grow their own pesticide free food to feed their family and make an income.

Oh my goodness, I have just fulfilled my dream! I picked all these organic salad ingredients from the vertical towers and made lunch! Lettuce, tomato, capsicum, beans, raddish, basil, coriander, mint, and parsley. Added goats feta and homemade dressing.
Anyone want to come over for lunch?!!!

We had a great morning at the propagation workshop at Bloomsfield's Homestead in Jimbooma - we learnt how to grow our own plants using cuttings, layering, and seed saving techniques. Highly recommend and is a lot simpler than you think! Bloomfield's Homestead

Today we got our first egg and strawberry! Everything is starting to grow well, strawberries will be ready for picking in 4-6 weeks time!

Big thank you to Megan Smith for setting up our native bee hive today. We now have 10,000 bees to pollinate the strawberries and vegetables!

Had my little helper today plant lots of veggie seeds - tomato, cucumber, raddish, spinach, dill, bush beans and snow peas! We even found some wild cherry tomato plants in the garden and popped them into the towers!

Day 2 - most of the towers have been built!
Filling the stacks with a nutritious blend of organic Coconut Coir and pellets. This helps the strawberries grow quicker without using soil and is perfect to use in hydroponic gardening. The coconut coir uses less water and is highly absorbent.

We are back into construction today and will have most of the towers set up ready for planting in a couple of days š
