Gold Coast Events & Party Hire

Gold Coast Events & Party Hire has a position available for a part-time/casual Delivery Driver & Store Person with an immediate start. Minimum 25 hours per week available. We're coming into our busy season so we have plenty of work.

This position includes:

Lifting and manual handling of party hire equipment (eg. tables and chairs, erecting marquees, small stages etc)
Cleaning and maintenance of hire equipment
General warehouse duties and 'all-rounder'
Hours generally between 8am and 4pm but shifts can sometimes start earlier and finish later depending on customer’s needs and our workload.
Weekend work may be required from time to time.
The position requires:

You to work EVERY Monday and Friday at a minimum
Great customer service
Great communication skills
Being Strong, fit and healthy will be an advantage
High level of attention to detail and cleanliness
A happy enthusiastic can do attitude
A manual Driver's License.
Due to excessive vehicle insurance premiums, we won't be considering applicants aged under 25.
We deal with weddings, sporting events, festivals and other major events. If we don’t do our job properly then our client’s “once in a lifetime” events could be compromised. Our staff need to be reliable and be able to solve problems that are often presented.

-Day to day office coordination; proactively keeping all office functions working efficiently
-Take bookings and create quotes for customers
-Answering phones and responding to general enquiries via email
-Coordinating deliveries and collections
-Managing social media & marketing include the Instagram & Facebook accounts

Stage setup for the lovely Vocal Adrenalin team for their end of year showcase 🎤 Venue: Palm Beach Currumbin Sports Club

All of our marquees can be installed with or without walls but sometimes this Queensland weather can be a bit unpredictable so we recommend adding them in just in case and opening them up if it’s a beautiful sunny day. They open and close just like a curtain making it easy for you or your event manager to adjust them when required.

Gold Coast Events & Party Hire are looking for delivery drivers and warehouse staff to join their team to get them through the busy summer season.

You will need to be hardworking, reliable, physically fit and have an open manual drivers licence.

This role will include delivering & collecting equipment, setting up marquees, staging, dance floors and cleaning and repairing equipment.

You will interact with customers on a daily basis so a friendly and positive attitude is a must.

Hours will vary between 15 - 30 hours per week depending on the schedule. Hours are usually 8am-4pm weekdays however some late nights or weekend work may be required at times.

Clear 10m x 27m marquee all lit up for the Emmanuel College Gold Coast formal a few weeks back. Still loving this look!

We were lucky enough to be part of the Emmanuel College Gold Coast school formal last week where we setup a clear marquee, lighting and furniture. Covid has changed the final year for so many students so we were so pleased to be part of ensuring it could be the best it can be in 2020.
