In the gentle embrace of stillness, I find myself seated amidst the ebb and flow of life's distractions, both within and around me. With serene poise, I surrender to the practice of Padmasana, the Lotus pose.
As I sit, I become an observer, free from judgment, simply witnessing the fluctuations of my consciousness. Through this sacred practice, I seek transcendence and inner purity, peeling away the layers to reveal the immortal essence that resides within.
The Lotus, a symbol of love, health, prosperity, and fertility, reminds us of the boundless abundance that surrounds us. By embracing this pose, we can tap into the wellspring of abundance that exists in the universe and within ourselves.

Natarajasana, the "Dancer's Pose," derives its name from the Sanskrit terms "nata" (dancer) and "raja" (king or lord), paying homage to the divine Lord Shiva, the epitome of grace.
By challenging our balance and fear of falling, this pose teaches us to overcome obstacles with willpower and concentration.
Natarajasana beautifully combines backbends and heart-openings, empowering us to gracefully navigate life's challenges both on and off the mat.

I tried other online yoga classes but didn't click with them, finding the instructors too vague and struggling with knowing whether was in the right position for the pose, leaving me feeling inadequate.
Michelle has completely changed that. Her friendly and warm instruction ensures you feel comfortable whatever your ability.
She explains fully how a pose should look, feel, modifications that can be taken and how to ease yourself further into a pose, making you feel empowered and in control. The meditative aspect to the practice leaves me feeling calm and restored.

Namaskar 🙏🏽
A traditional greeting from India and Nepal, holds deep meaning and reverence. It involves joining the palms together and bowing, while saying "Namaste."
This humble gesture symbolises the merging of opposites and represents the balance of body, mind, and spirit. Namaskar serves as a gentle reminder of the profound unity we embody and the intrinsic divinity that exists within each of us. Often new clients will ask if they need any equipment to do yoga at home?
While you don't need any equipment to start practicing yoga at home, a good yoga mat is essential for stability and alignment and creating a welcoming, distraction-free space for yourself to practice.
Props like blocks, straps, bolsters and blankets can also enhance your practice by making it more comfortable and supportive.
So whether you choose to practice with or without equipment, know that you're taking an important step towards improving your health and wellbeing. Trust your body, be kind to yourself, and enjoy the journey!
