CICO - acronym for “calories in, calories out.”
It's not a specific diet. It's the concept that creating a calorie deficit 🥒 by consuming fewer calories than you burn on a daily basis 🥬
leads to weight loss, 🧁while eating more calories than you burn causes weight gain. 🍔
Though there are often other conditions to consider if someone is experiencing weight loss resistance.
A benefit of counting calories, even if not done regularly, is that it helps you understand how many calories you are consuming daily. This awareness can guide you in making better food choices. For weight loss, try to replace some high-calorie foods with lower-calorie options. Don’t get too fastidious about calorie counting, once you did it for a week you won’t need to count them.
Lifting Weight - Resistancy training🏋for WEIGHT LOSS
The number one fact about weight training and weight loss is that weight training, also known as resistance training, is highly effective for achieving weight loss goals.
While cardio exercises like running or cycling can burn a significant amount of calories during the activity itself, weight training builds muscle, which in turn increases your resting metabolic rate.
This means you burn more calories even when you're at rest. Additionally, weight training helps preserve lean muscle mass while losing weight, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy metabolism and preventing weight regain.
Therefore, incorporating weight training into your fitness routine can be essential for successful and sustainable weight loss.
What is ONDAMED
I think you are all familiar with the ECG or you may have had an ECG (Electrocardiography). It picks up electricity from our heart.
Our heart can not beat without the electrical parts that guarantee that it will beat. Sometimes we even have to use electricity for support to make the heart beat (pacemaker). The same is true with our brain. Again, I think you are familiar with the EEG (Electroencephalogram). This is done by your neurologist and picks up the electricity produced by our brain, the brain waves! So both the ECG and the EEG pick up waves and we hope that these waves are normal. Drinking a glass of clean mineralised water every two hours is required for the body to be hydrated.
When you exercise sipp your water; Sweating is your body's way of regulating temperature during exercise. Drinking water helps replace lost fluids, enabling your body to continue regulating its temperature effectively.
💧Water fasting is a practice where an individual consumes only water for a specified period, abstaining from all other forms of food and drink.
Benefits of water fasting include detoxification, weight loss, improved mental clarity, and even healing of certain health conditions by triggering a process called autophagy, where cells remove damaged components and recycle them, potentially leading to cellular repair.

Oxygen is the third-most abundant element in the universe, if it would suddenly disappear for 5 seconds the whole earth would collapse
“About two-third of the oxygen in our atmosphere is produced in the surface waters of the sea by phytoplankton, the minute forms of algae that give the sea its slightly green hue, and which initiate the entire food web of the ocean” Jacques Cousteau
The rest is produced via photosynthesis on land by trees, shrubs, grasses and other plants.
But don’t be too concerned, there is still enough plankton and trees for all of us, to be precise 400 trees per person. In total today there are about three trillion trees to the world. About 12,000 years ago and pre agriculture Earth had twice as many trees.
🤾Exercise, regular physical exercise can improve aerobic power, meaning the ability of the muscles to use oxygen received from the heart and lungs to produce energy. 🤸

Have a glass of water before each meal and don't drink during your meal. Here are a few reasons why drinking during meals is not a good idea and it might affect digestion:
💧Dilution of digestive enzymes: When you consume fluids with your meals, especially large amounts of water, it can potentially dilute the concentration of digestive enzymes in your stomach.
💧Impact on stomach acid: Drinking large amounts of liquid, especially cold beverages, might dilute the gastric juices in your stomach. Cold drinks slow down digestionl
💧Delayed gastric emptying: Consuming too much fluid during a meal may contribute to delayed gastric emptying, meaning that food stays in the stomach for a longer time before moving into the small intestine.
💡Drink a glass of water 15-30 minutes before meal (250ml) and add a teaspoon of apple cidre vinegar to support your digestion.
The 16:8 plan involves eating only during an 8-hour window followed by a 16-hour fasting. So, if you have the last meal at 8pm, the next meal isn't until midday the next day. This way of fasting is known as time-restricted eating.
The benefits of this restricted eating is, you are reducing cortisol levels (stress hormone) and inflamation. If you are a beginner and want to test drive water fasting, this is a good wayh to start fasting.
Fasting means you take in no caloric foods/drinks and you only drink water in the 16 hours window.
