Today on this Anzac day we reflect on the courage of those who have served our country.
For our Soldiers, Airmen & Sailors along with our four legged mates who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and those who were wounded and still carry the scars of battle, we salute you.
For the families of all military personnel we pray for the sacrifice that you also make.
To all our mates, be they two or four legged you are never forgotten, be it today on Anzac Day or for that matter on any other day.
We salute you all. We will remember you.

Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2020 finalists revealed From serenading squirrels and smiling parrotfish to monkey bikie gangs and very rude turtles, these are some of the finalists of this year's Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards 2020.

It's something we take for granted but the science of how we taste things is quite fascinating.
We may have 10,000 tastebuds from birth, but how you experience the taste of something (like great coffee! :) is a combination of using those tastebuds, your sense of smell and the texture or mouthfeel of your food or drink.

It turns out the tongue map of old (dating back to 1901) with the regions for sour, sweet, bitter and salty could even be wrong - there may be a FIFTH TASTE called umami (for "brothy" or "meaty" tastes). The umami taste won't play a big part in tasting your coffee though.
We all taste things differently. Some of us could be supertasters (high concentrations of taste receptors) and more likely to take our coffee without adding anything like syrups or choc. And some of us love the sweet add-ons!

Next time you take a sip of your favourite, take a moment and savour the flavour, the mouthfeel and the aroma. Then you're good to go 😀

Please note that we are still roasting and shipping our coffee, as well as chocolate, syrups, chai etc. Our premises are not retail, and of course strict hygiene is always followed as per our food licencing regulations.

We have good product stock holdings and continuing to roast and deliver coffee, choc etc. The courier service is running well.
Our roastery is not a retail premises and we are able to control strict hygiene controls to ensure cleanliness.
