Only one case of community transmission has been announced this morning — a woman linked to the PA Hospital cluster.

The Greater Brisbane lockdown will end at 12pm today, a few hours earlier than anticipated, but some restrictions remain.

Nine other cases have been recorded but all were acquired overseas.

A record 34,711 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours.

Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young described today's new case, who attended the hen's party in Byron last weekend, as "the perfect case".

"They have been in quarantine during their infectious period so no risk at all," she said.

Church services can go ahead this weekend, under social distancing and contact tracing requirements.

But some restrictions remain for all of Queensland until April 15:
- the mask mandate remains (must be worn in indoor public spaces like shops, public transport, and outdoors if social distancing is not possible)
- patrons at cafes and pubs must remain seated with no dancing allowed (unless outside)
- home gatherings restricted to 30
