Quirky Werx

Well its been quite a while since I have posted anything on the Quirky Werx page. Life has been hectic to say the least. Unfortunately work and real life has taken control so my pottery and groups had to take a back row seat. I am attempting to organise the occasional weekend group on a Saturday afternoon.

I am looking at 25th March, 2023 at 1pm for a just for giggles- girls afternoon - who's interested. $80 pp includes afternoon tea, clay and firing - will do a separate group for glazing down the track or I will glaze for you for extra $20 including glaze and firing.

I have just released new dates and times for March/April and May. Children's workshops will be running for April/Easter school holidays on Saturday 2nd and Saturday 9th April from 10am and I will be running 2 special Mothers Day Events on 7th May. If u are a client wanting to come back to glaze your pieces please call me to organise dates and times to do this. I am now back in full swing after lots of things happening over last few weeks...

Relax unwind and have some fun while learning the basic techniques to build a pot then use your imagination and turn it into your own creative work of art. Hello to all my Quirky Werx clients and followers.
There will be a slight hold up on your pieces being finished and ready to collect due to my kiln deciding it needs new element. Unfortunately this happened during the Xmas period when everyone is closed and the on going covid crisis. Please be patient I will have them done and ready for pick up asap.

Looking for something to entertain the kids over the school holidays how about a clay play hand building group. I will be running 2hr clay play workshops thru January on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 19th from 10am to 12noon. Price includes clay, use of tools, instruction, firing and glazing (white only). Today we had a wonderful morning with the lovely girls and guys from Forward Steps Mobility. Such lovely kind beautiful people and we had the best time playing with clay. Spirit came for a visit and we had some play time with the guide dogs while off duty. You guys are just wonderful and you rock.
