Clinic Closure -

It's time! It's time for me and my family, it's time for a change! I have mixed emotions about closing but it comes back to ... It's Time!

Total Essence has been a part of the Paradise Point Community for nearly 20 years. We have set up in different spots, moving 3 times... and settled where we are currently for 11 years. I'm immensely proud of what I've created and the continued service we've been able to provide over these years.

I've had the opportunity to mentor new therapists coming through and share my 25 years experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist. I'm grateful for the therapists that stuck with Total Essence through all its changes, especially my longest-serving therapist, Dan, of 11 years. I've had the pleasure of witnessing all of my teams' professional interests and passions develop and grow.

And an extra special mention to the joy of working with Georgia, whom you all see and connect with on a daily basis. Some of you may not know, she is my step daughter (although I'm divorced), who started working for me 13 years ago. We have been through so much together, always by my side, to say I'm immensely proud is an understatement.

My family has seen me through all the challenges of owning a business and the one epic person in my life through this time has been my Mum. She works behind the scenes helping me with my bookwork and even in front of house, 'working for love', allowing me time off when I had my daughter, Fleur.

To all the amazing clients who have supported this little local business is humbling. Many of my original clients continue to see myself or one of my very talented team. I'm extremely blessed to have created a calm, beautiful space for you to retreat from this crazy world on a regular basis. We have been here through all your stories of hard times, loss and grief, injuries and surgeries, and also the joyful moments... We value each and every story you have entrusted with us.

So as I let go of my original 'baby', I look back with treasured memories and allow a different door to open for me. I'm not 100% sure what's next for me, but I'm going to allow myself the space and time to create something new. I look forward to the excitement of the unknown....so make sure you watch this space.

I understand the impact this closure will have on our valued clients and team. To ensure a smooth transition and to honour our commitments, we will continue to provide services up until Saturday 29th June.

FIONA - Remedial Therapist & Acupuncturist

Fiona's primary therapeutic goal has been to relax the body and mind by providing a combination of gentle Remedial techniques with soothing Swedish style massage.

Fiona has studied Remedial myofascial dry-needling, low-level laser therapy, manual lymphatic drainage (for seasonal detox and boosting the immune-system), myofascial cupping, and a Bachelor of Health Science degree in acupuncture with over 300 hours of clinical practice.

With years of hands-on experience, combined with compassion and intuition, Fiona can provide a comprehensive, fully customised treatment addressing your physical, mental, and emotional presentation, at each and every visit.

Studying Remedial Massage Therapy over 20 years ago, she chose to get out from behind a desk and work closer helping people.

Tereza is a Remedial Massage Therapist and prides herself on achieving outstanding results for her clients. Her Massage treatments may include Sports, Remedial and Relaxation techniques to aide in reducing muscular pain, injury recovery and prevention. Tereza uses a wide range of modalities, including Laser Therapy, Thai and MET stretches, Trigger Point and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy to aid her clients. Tereza specialises in Remedial Sports Massage which is beneficial for both pre and post sports activity.
