We’re thrilled to announce our new Circular Material partnership with Coombabah SHS! ✨ As part of our commitment to social and environmental responsibility, we’re enhancing our waste reduction efforts. We’re all about cutting waste and finding creative ways to up cycle and reuse materials.

As part of this initiative, we’re setting aside various waste streams identified as ‘usable materials’ for Coombabah SHS students to use in their construction and building projects. We can’t wait to see what amazing creations the students come up with!

CIAA & CPAQ Conference week wrap up!

We’re thrilled to have wrapped up another conference week with Caravan Industry Association Australia (CIAA) and Caravan Park Association Queensland (CPAQ)! This year’s conference week was one of our best yet, featuring world-class speakers delivering exceptional content, engaging social events, and numerous opportunities for networking and growth. We were lucky enough to be asked to present at the CIAA conference last week, and our team absolutely smashed it.

Larissa Rose, our Environmental and Sustainability Manager held a casual panel discussion with John Christie, Chief Revenue Officer, Josh Weldon, Design Manager, and Emma Jensen, Project Manager, to offer an in-depth overview of the way ModnPods continues to evolve with the everchanging market, design within engineering and certification boundaries, and provide an end-to-end, incredible client experience.

Did you get to attend the conference and sit in on our presentation? What did you take away from it?

We had the pleasure of hosting the team from Queensland Corrective Services in our factory last week, visiting their current project in production. A fulfilling tender to have been awarded and we can't wait to see this hit the ground. Another first, fresh design for the ModnPods team, with the added benefit of starting an exciting new partnership.

This year we’re back and bigger than ever, putting our best Pod forward at the State Caravan Parks Association Australia [12th-13th May] and the National Caravan Industry Association of Australia [15th-17th May] 2024 conferences on the Gold Coast at RACV Royal Pines.

Not only are we filled with excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to announce ourselves as Principal Sponsor of the CIAA conference, but we’re also looking forward to coming together with you all and taking part in two powerful trade events for a week of networking and introducing some industry changing products.

It doesn’t take much to support local charities, and we are doing are part in little ways.

A big thank you to our community partner, 10c Tom for supporting outcomes across the Gold Coast for people living with a disability.

Our team have recycled 1327 containers the last 5 months.

We know it’s a small amount in the scheme of things, but what we do know is, that it plays a part in creating impactful and purposeful social change.

Our ModnPods partnership with James Construction is well underway with our first project en route to North Queensland.

Together with Guy Martin, our GM of Developments, James Construction Queensland will be a pivotal part of this incredible project on-site installation, created for much needed educational worker housing in rural communities.

Nestled amidst nature, these cozy pods offer the ultimate blend of a comfortable and adventurous stay at Reflections Holiday Park.

Our General Manager of Developments coordinates all site installs with local trades and a hands-on approach, while following a meticulous site-plan from our in-house design team.

Collaboration at its finest can be seen first-hand within the layout of our 14-pod project in Hawks Nest, NSW.

"Last week I took my 2 pups away to Hawks Nest in NSW, I had seen dog friendly, sustainable modular pods which looked super luxe - designed and created by ModnPods.

I was not disappointed, I was not in an old, dusty cabin, but a beautiful self contained, safe space with my pups.. modern furniture and so many extras.. attention to the little things..

I was also impressed by the accessibility options they had, how did I know.. well these pods were in prime position, not at the back or hidden away!
Now me being me , I had to get a look in a Pod, it just so happened the founder John Christie was on site and gave me a key to explore!

I loved the space, the low panel switches, the wet room, the big kitchen with space for mobility aids, the ramp into the pod, the sliding door handle, the bedroom curtain (instead of door) the contrasting colours..
I loved it so much, but the best thing.. it was just as good, if not better than mine (with the individual samples of hand wash and extra luxury items), the furniture was on point and the space, well thought out and the vibe was fresh, comfy not a hint if clinical anywhere!

ModnPods not only did you make me and my pups happy by designing a safe and beautiful dog friendly space but you also created an experience of inclusion. And you allowed a random women being pulled by 2 bulldogs to be nosey and look at the magic you had created! Thank you."

This project was designed with purpose to not only withstand the rigorous Australian climate, but to match the natural beauty of the region.

Since we began utilising 10 Cent Tom bins within our facility last August, we’re proud to say we’ve contributed 791 items to be recycled in support of Tom’s wonderful impact business.

Supporting not only the environmental aspect of recycling these bottles and cans, but the empowerment and community Tom has created is a great feeling for our team to be a part of!
