🔈🔈Today marks the end of an era and the beginning of exciting new times.

After 33 years, hundreds and thousands of steps and tons and tons of fresh produce, these two local larrikins along with Nadia, are stepping back to put their feet up and enjoy some quality time with their families.

🌟 Recently Will received an award for over 40 years service in fresh produce, and was proud to accept it on behalf of both families and all the staff that have passed through the shop. It has been a privilege to serve such a wonderful appreciative community.

⭐️ But don’t dismay, 🤗 Joe and his lovely wife Reiko 🤗 have found this lovely community and are excited to become part of it and raise their young son here, whilst providing the same quality produce and service that you know and love!

➡️ In Fact 🤔, as Joe and Reiko are from NZ - we will run a cheeky 2 for 1 on kiwi fruit 🥝 🥝 to welcome them 👏🏻 👏🏻

🔷 We will all still be around for a bit to help Joe settle in, so pop in and say hi 👋🏻

🦠 Our COVIDSafe event requires contact tracing, social distancing and good hygiene. It is important we have the full co-operation of the community to ensure continued success of Sunday Sounds.

SMELTZY'S BACK! 🔥⚽ He's scored at a FIFA World Cup for the All Whites, has won a few A-League Golden Boot and Player of the Year awards, has coached the youth team at Sydney FC and has now started his own academy based on the Gold Coast.... and now super striker Shane Smeltz is BACK to join us in Cairns for the Far North QLD Youth Cup next week!

"Smeltzy" will join Michael Thwaite and Zenon Caravella for an EPIC Gold Coast United reunion (circa 2008-2010) as they kick off FNQ Youth Cup week coaching at our invitational camp on Monday followed by the big event from Tuesday to Thursday where our guest coaches will all rotate in mentoring our CFA players.

We simply cannot wait to host over 30 teams from the Northern Territory, Brisbane, Sydney and Townsville as we play 4 days of elite football in paradise at The Grounds Cairns!

With the closure of the Runaway Bay butcher shop, we have been inundated with demand for plain PORK and BEEF sausages.
