I created MBT as this industry is my passion, I want everyone to feel confident and empowered by the new skills they have learnt. We have a boutique training studio offering selected Beauty short courses, working in a class of no more than 2 students to ensure you get the most out of your training. We also offer services to our clients by appointment only.
I have been working within the Beauty Industry for over 16 years. First starting out as a MUA and then becoming a BT. Back in the day before Social media so I had to actually put myself out there and network with other businesses to build my own! I had to talk the talk & then back myself, walk the talk!
From renting space in other businesses, working from home around the girls when they were little, to opening two shop fronts in two different states, business coaching, working for well known brands as a Business Development Manager and trainer. It was time to share all of my knowledge and so Melbourne Beauty & Training was born :)
Time and time again I would see the cracks of this industry that of the bigger training organisations and the direct effect it was having on our future beauty therapists, lash techs, makeup artists ect. With that the quality was lacking, making it difficult to become employed or even just to have the self confidence in your new skillset.
