Also, we have our last Zoom classes for 2023 for those interstate or not able to make it to the in room session.

A bit about the class: 6 weeks via Zoom, here we look at zoom auditions being a different beast to an In-Room or Self Tape Auditions - what are the differences, what do actors need to let go of when approaching zoom auditions?

The classes are in two parts - for the first hour, approaching a standard Zoom audition recorded in a single frame. For the second hour we re-do the scenes in a Zoom Chemistry read format, recorded in split screen - this is happening a lot more now due to Director, Producer and Actor locations and an area I’ve seen actors freak out a bit, going in not knowing if chemistry on zoom is even possible - although not ideal, it can actually work really well - especially when an actor realises this is really about stripping everything back to pure story, listening and responding. Each week they get all the clips to review, I choose 2-3 scenes for them, they select another 2, it could be scenes they’ve done before via zoom and not sure how the hell it went.

There are 2 sessions available, Tuesday’s 1pm-3pm & Wednesday’s 1pm-3pm - we limit this up to 6 actors max in a class.

Hello, we have our last Sydney Wednesday Night Workout class for 2023, starting on the 15th November - 20th December, please take a look if you'd like to join.

A bit about the class: This goes for 6 weeks, in person classes held in Ultimo, Sydney - this is the last Workout class for 2023. We work on a different scene each week, the idea is that the participants walk away with at least 4-5 great reference videos - I choose 2-3 scenes for them and with guidance, they select the other scenes. Hopefully these are clips agents can use as tools to highlight the actors work (or for actors to help get representation) - our aim is to showcase and highlight the actor's strengths and bring out their individual personalities, humour and sensibilities - scenes that sit on them well. The work and growth I’ve seen with this format has been fabulous. Numbers strictly limited.
