You will need to make 9 ATC’s to swap. These cards are to be your interpretation of the theme "Things with Wings". You can make them all the same or you can make all 9 different.

We have made it through the first week of winter and June!
Here is a sample of this month's challenge card using the sketch. This has been made using scrap pieces of card and items that I had sitting on my desk. A beautiful card from an easy sketch.
I am enjoying seeing all the different projects that have been coming through.
Remember you have until the 27th June to enter so get creating!!

Well, another crafting weekend done and dusted. We had the BEST time - made some new friends and got to spend some time with some old ones. In this group photo we are holding our mixed media art work - we are missing a couple of people, but we all had fun learning some amazing techniques from Carol.

Items you will need to craft along with us:

- Embossing Folders – both plain and 3D (if you have them)
- Cardstock – any colour cut to A6 size (14.8cm x 10.5cm). I use J Burrows 250gsm white card.
- Spray bottle with water
- Paper / card scraps / washi tape
- Old cereal box cut into A6 size (14.8cm x 10.5cm) pieces of cardstock – at least 3 pieces but 4 would be better.
- Shape dies: any shape - circles, ovals, rectangles – whatever you have will work
- Die cutting machine

The stamp and die set is a large one this month, some lovely Australiana Ephemera - with multiple copies of them. All the cardstock and cardbases you will need for the 6 classes, a pretty selection of flat back pearls and some ribbon. Cost is $50

On-line class on Thursday 23rd Feb at 7pm and repeated on Friday afternoon at 1pm. (Brisbane Australia Time)

Hi all, I made this card after I cut out a heap of flowers from the current Paint Splash kit. I had all the pieces of 'negative space' card stock - the stuff left over when you cut out your dies - and thought I would use it as a stencil. I used my blending brushes to get a soft effect on a white piece of light weight cardstock. I then used some of the flowers that I had just made and added them to the card. I cut out the paint splash from the Enamel Dots packaging in the kit and stamped 'Smile' on it with black versamark and added clear embossing powder. This gave me a nice shine.
I simply glued it onto a black card base and here is a nice simple card.

TECHNIQUE TUESDAY FREE ON-LINE CLASS

23rd Jan 2024 at 7pm AEST (that Qld time)

This is our first one for this year and we are going to be doing some Die Cutting. We will be going back to basics so great for any newbies but a great re-fresher for the experienced crafter. Plenty of tips to help you achieve beautiful and precise cuts.

This is open to everyone and is run via Zoom - but spots are limited. Please write in the comments if you want to join us and I will send you the link and a list of materials to have on hand.

This session runs for approx. 1 hour.

PLEASE NOTE: this is not a cardmaking class, it is a session on using your die cutting machine but you should have some lovely dies to use on cards after the session.

Here is another example of for our Jan24 Rainbow Challenge!
Again I used the scraps that were left over from the Christmas Retreat (I have a lot of these), The rainbow was cut from the remainder of the star used on the scrapbook page last week. I inked the background with similar toned distress oxide ink, then edged both the background and the rainbow with Stormy Sky distress oxide. I cut to clouds out and shaded them lightly with the Stormy Sky distress oxide. I glued the rainbow down and then used double sided foam tape to raise the clouds, fairy and greeting, giving the card some dimension.
I am excited seeing all you projects coming in, don't forget the draw is the last zoom class of the month, one week to go! The challenge is open to all members of the Clever Paper Crafting page.
