City of Gosford Pipe Band
We are a local Pipe Band committed to teaching traditional Scottish music and engaging with the local community to continue the pipe band movement.
For many years the City of Gosford Pipe Band engaged with and entertained the local community providing Pipers and Drummers with an opportunity to learn and progress Scottish Traditional Music and instruments. In the late 90's many of the bands members joined other bands and over time the band has withdrawn from community participation - however through this page and other outlets we are planning

We were proud to support the Surf Life Saving Central Coast's official raising of the flag ceremony on Saturday at Terrigal Beach. They provide a vital service to our community and we are grateful for the work they do and the lives they save.

We recently came across this loose photo in the ledgers of the Gosford District Caledonian Society (1949-1967). There is no description on the back but it may have been included in correspondence from Gosford Pipe Band dated 2/1/1968 thanking the Caledonian Society for a donation of $50.
We assume that it was taken on either ANZAC Day or Remembrance Day on Mann St in Gosford, but perhaps a car aficionado could help us narrow down the year?

🌹Anzac Day 2022🌹
Today, we had pipers playing at Dawn services across the Central Coast, then the band formed up for the Gosford March, selected pipers played the lament for the wreath-laying ceremony, followed by some tunes at Gosford RSL. A wonderful day commemorating the sacrifices of all military servicemen and women.
