Yesterday, our amazing Associate Director Christine Hallows took part in the 7 Bridges Walk for the Cancer Council.

Christine and her husband walked the 28km in 5 hours and clocked up almost 40,000 steps! The walk started in Lane Cove to Milsons Point and over the Harbour Bridge, Pyrmont Bridge, Anzac Bridge, Iron Cove Bridge and the very challenging Gladesville Bridge- which isn't even fun to drive let alone walk! They then walked over Tarban Creek Bridge and lastly, the Fig Tree Bridge before finishing the loop back in Lane Cove.

Christine and her husband raised an amazing $1,000 for the charity, along with 11,000 plus other walkers, survivors, pups and proud supporters who contributed.

This is the 7 Bridges 18th year running, with this years' walk having raised over $2 million ($2,042,400 to be exact); and its still growing! This money goes directly to funding Cancer research and the support and prevention programs.

Cancer Council does such amazing work, tirelessly throughout the year via various charity days like The Biggest Morning Tea, The 7 Bridges Walk and Daffodil Day to name a few. For those of you who have, or are supporting someone special, be it through donations, or participating in fund raising yourself, we thank you.

We are sure you will join us, in not only thanking Christine, but congratulating her on another mammoth effort!

For the 2nd year running, AdviceCo has sponsored Breakers Bowling Club Autumn Carnival.

It is a day for the bowlers to get together, and provides a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for local charities.

The day was a success with the bowlers generously donating to Central Coast Kids in Need Inc, a community based Not-for-Profit, whose volunteers work tirelessly to support sick kids who need medicine, and their families who need accommodation whilst their children undergo treatment.

Mounties Group kindly matched the donation, together with Count Charitable Foundation.

It is through collaboration and caring for our community that collectively we raised $7,000 to support a very worthy cause!🥳

Today 64 of AdviceCo. staff, extended family and friends took part in the Bay to Bay. Many of our heavy hitters did the 12km walk and made it out alive and we all met at the finish line for a few well deserved drinks and a snag. Thanks to our AdviceCo family for once again showing community spirit and walking or running for a good cause.

Today we hosted our annual Biggest Morning Tea in support of Cancer Council. Our staff put on a fabulous spread paired with good company and great donations to this very worthy cause. Very proud to say we reached our goal with just staff donations and our very generous directors are going to match that on behalf of the company. Thanks to our fantastic team for being so generous.

A face you might recognise by now, Donna joined the AdviceCo team in October 2022.

With her caring, compassionate and friendly approach, she is happy to answer any enquiries you may have, and guide you in the right direction.

The Government has released further information to support the announced proposal to cap tax concessions on certain high balance super accounts from 1 July 2025. If legislated, this measure could have tax, estate planning and retirement planning implications for higher super balance clients.

The Government intends to consult with the industry on the implementation of this measure.

On behalf of the AdviceCo team, I (David) would like to recognise and acknowledge the generosity of our team members, and our clients.

Together, with the help of the Count Charitable Foundation, we have managed to raise $10,760 for the Red Cross to make a difference on the ground in Turkey and Syria.

I am very proud of our team's generosity and community spirit!

You will have heard by now about the devastating news that thousands of people have died, and have been injured after two major earthquakes struck Turkey and northern Syria on Monday.
Community focus is one of our pillars, and we want to make a difference. Our team members want to give, and AdviceCo will match whatever they pledge to this worthy cause.

The Count Charitable Foundation generously dollar-match our joint contributions - so together, we can help even more!

We have many generous clients who are often donate at a personal level, to make a difference.

We have reached out to the Count Charitable Foundation, and in order to help raise more funds they have agreed to not only match our contributions, but to also dollar-match those of our clients (up to a $35,000 total limit).
