Due to our ongoing business growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to learn a new skill in powder coating and sandblasting to join our team.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare material surfaces for coating by sandblasting, cleaning, masking and applying pre-treatment chemicals
Operate powder coating equipment to coat various metal surfaces with powder paint
Ensure proper thickness and adhesion to powder coating
Inspect finished products for quality
Maintain a clean and organised work space
Follow safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications include:

Experience and knowledge of powder coating and sandblasting preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Effective communication skills
Ability to work as part of a small high performing team
Requirements:

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and ability to lift moderate weights, strong work ethic
Flexibility to work occasional overtime
Forklift experience & licence preferred
