Just living a life now
but trying to build the future from nothing.....
journey started 3 years ago
let start from the beginning
and carry on until i am A Maori In His 50's
6 and 1 half years to get there
Welcome
lessssshhgoooo
Life definitely doesn't start at forty
So a few weeks ago I had a surprise visit and you know it's a long story but got time
See in 2013 I met this couple
Let's just call them jay and you
They had a young son
Mixed blood family
Having family and drugs issues
I don't judge people by their habits I judge them by how they treat me
And we had a great convo
And jay loved guitar and was fascinated
And you was maori
So we all hit it off
Jay was on h
And you was on I
And they had a young child
Sometime they'd talk about how hard life is and I knew it was only the habit talking but they had a small child
And he deserved something so I'd always help out where I can and we became good friends over the years they never come to see me when they were wasted
But they always come to see me to say hello listen to music
And well jay went to jail and you had to do what she had to do to survive so she didn't and broke the cardinal rule
And also got done and got sent to villawood
She fought her way out of villawood but by the time she got out of detention
Jay is doing really well for himself and his son and even had a visit with you and a day put so life has change emmensly for them both and you lives and works in Melbourne but showed up while I was busking to say hello and a good convo
I come to find out she has ten dollars for dinner for her and her sister who had come to Sydney be abuse their lives were falling apart due to their brother they didn't even know how much they were paying rent
Their brother was taking 1400 off them a fortnight
300 each a fortnight for food and four hundred each a fortnight for food and bills extra
Omfg
I asked her if she knew how much the rent was where she was living she said no
I said I can find out for you right now if you like
She said yes OK she cried her eyes instantly
The rent where they paid 800 a fortnight is only 720 a fortnight so the brother banks 80 in his pocket and they pay 600 for shopping plus have to help pay for the power and gas on top
Wow it was 360 a week for rent
She was angry and asked if I'd call later and speak to her and her sister together on the phone and explain to them more in detail how and what they can do to better they're situation
And I told them both to get the hell out of there and move on go to uni something and by the time the convo ended one had already been kicked out
And not welcome back at home but the youngest has to go back to the brother house or else
I don't know the full story with that so I won't speak more on it
They got the hell out of their and moved out that night
They are out of there and independent I'm proud of my friends
Jay he just did very very very well
You know in my life ive met alot of people from allwalks of life all ages all looks and sizes ive tried to give all the people ive met in my life only the best advice in the best way with the most in-depth explanation and examples
For what I am speaking to you about how it relates to you and any suggestions i have i tell you
Doesnt matter if youve been there for an hour ive had time for all and everybody and have been very honest with both male and females i have met along the way about who I am what I do what I don't like and everything I leave nothing for people to guess about be abuse i think we all deserve that stone that's not shy to tell us how it is but will also give an explanation as to why I'm that type of guy and for that im respected for who i am and what i have been able to teach people to win in their lives as i struggled for years to maintain my own demons i was dealing with mentally draining ive gave so much to other and didn't even teach my partner how to play guitar
I'm not perfect but I'm not imperfect either I'm just sharing his journey
Growing old is inevitable
