I have started the year in my studio. I have painted over an unsuccessful painting. Now I have done a rough sketch. I am working from an onsite sketch and photo. I’m in the mood for painting. John Lennon is on my DVD playlist. fun Now I will have to get painting. Happy New Year to everyone.

Happy New Year to you all. I haven’t been painting as much as I should. I am getting back into my studio now. I had two wonderful holidays this year and I have some new ideas. I look forward to next year. I hope you all achieve what you want to accomplish.💕🖼️

Happy New Year to all. I haven’t been very productive with painting lately. But here is a snapshot of my year. The first photo is my latest on the go. Not quite finished.

We are all set up at Alba Paloma cafe in Healesville. Tonight is Christmas shopping night. Paella is on the menu tonight here at Alba Paloma. .

I will be at Alba Paloma with artist Denise Smith Thursday 7 th of December 3-8 pm. We have a table there with our small art works. Great Christmas gifts.

I am very happy to be part of this exhibition. My painting is titled Hope and the Peaceful Dove. I used acrylic and Posca pens. You can see my painting at YAVA in Healesville. The Waterwheel gallery is also hosting this great exhibition. Two venues .

My friend Denise Smith and I have paintings at in Healesville. After having some delicious scones we delivered some new paintings. The cafe has had a renovation and a wall has paintings and photography by local artists .All for sale. Great coffee and food. .
Mine are the seascape, sheep, wren , eucalyptus flowers and pears.

Sometimes the painting part is the easiest. Before I can enter this coming up exhibition I have to plan my painting. Then I have to do an artist statement. Wow that was hard. You can see I had many drafts. Finally I think I got it right. I have submitted and can only hope. I am sure many of you know what I am talking about. Cheers everyone.🖼️🖼️🖼️💕

I am going to be with Denise Smith at Willow and Jackson cafe on Thursday 1st of December, for the Christmas shopping in Healesville. We have been given space to set up our art for sales. Tonight is the opening of this exhibition. Inspirited. I had a little look today. The exhibition is amazing. So much beautiful art to see. I called my painting Dreaming on a cloud. I sold this painting at Willow&Jackson cafe in Healesville. Silly me, I had added three magpies to this painting and forgot to photograph it. The magpies gave life to the painting. This scene was from Killara winery in Seville. The scenery is stunning throughout all the seasons. Living in the Yarra Valley we are spoilt by so much beautiful scenery.
