Lily Parker Tattoo

Hoping to return to work soonish. I have my “last resort” appointment with a great surgeon at the start of July, but still really hoping to avoid that route. Will let everyone know when I can, of course - If you’re waiting for me to finish something, I’m so sorry it’s been so long, it’s very lame and I’ve got the guilts. It’s been unpredictable. Getting slowly better though, less motor symptoms and less pain finally the last few weeks! Yay! 🤞

I don’t have any tattoos to post, w***y portrait?

Wanted to let everyone know as soon as possible, in case you’re waiting for my books to open or wondering why I’ve been rescheduling a bit lately. I am taking some kind of a step back from tattooing. Hopefully a proper long break, rather than an end.
I am really upset about this realisation, so sorry if this isn’t super clear - I’m not sure what my winding back is going to look like but I will definitely be finishing anything I’ve started, just not starting anything for now. Please contact me if you need appointments to complete something we’ve already begun, but I will not be starting anything new.

Unfortunately I’ve just been perpetually injured for years now, I don’t like to complain but it’s gotten to the point where I can’t get ahead of it, there’s always something wrong, and I need to try changing something, rather than speeding up just to slow down again a few months later again. I have other passions I want to continue doing and tattooing is not agreeing with my body now after 11 years sadly, as much as I love what I do.

Thanks for your understanding so far, to all my clients/friends. Hopefully this isn’t permanent.

Been off work so I don’t have anything super recent, but thought I could share a small section of what I’ve been doing on Emily ⛓️
All work shown is by me, all healed except a second pass over the throat. We’ve just completed a full back, neck and chest, which I’m excited to show you guys once I can get a decent video/shots of it fully healed and settled. Definitely one of my favourite large scale projects. Thanks for your commitment and friendship

Koi with Peonies & Blossoms - first session of a new sleeve🎏

Did 4.5 hours in this session, a shorter first session is always good for me to get my bearings before we get really stuck into it.

Portrait for Shelley of her Mother - it’s always ideal to pick a photo with good resolution to tattoo portraits, but this photo was just so gorgeous and we picked it anyway. I had to put my thinking cap on to sprinkle some life into the tattoo (which was fun and challenging) as the reference image was hazy. Can’t wait to see this one healed and settled.

Cobras for Jess ( .o ) who was calm and perfectly still start to finish on a difficult spot. 6 hours - we were both really happy to have this (roughly a4 sized piece) done and dusted in one shot.
