Yoga returns today with Lisa on the mat this morning at 9am. Come and say goodbye before she travels back to South Africa to be with her beloved family. Yoga classes will continue with the lovely Halley in her absence. Halley has a diverse background in teaching and is looking forward to meeting you all. 🪷

🔥W O W🔥 the room was alight last night as we sparked the Fire within, with the most amazing Kundalini practice utilising dynamic breath, mantra and movement. We rounded it off as we simmered back down with a grounding Yin and soothing Sound bath💫

Our Yin Yoga 5 week series begins tomorrow at 6:45pm. A 60-minute weekday practice for those that need just a short and simple pause.

Surrender and release into floor based postures to nourish the physical layers, whilst practicing the art of holding space for yourself. To notice, to feel, and to bathe in the waves of somatic medicine.

Postures are held for 4 - 5 minutes to stimulate the organs, promote deep release of the fascia and calm the mind. Yin is the most perfect complement to our busy, modern lives.

**YOGA IS BACK TOMORROW**
Wishing all of you beautiful Moms a very Happy Mothers day. As nurturers and caregivers we spend most of our lives putting others first while practicing selfless acts of kindness.

As Mom's we feel like our children are inextricably intertwined in us long after giving birth, feeling pain and sadness when our children experience the same emotions and feelings. In fact during pregnancy, cells from the fetus enter the mother's body, where they become part of our tissues and we go on to carry the childs cells for generations.

The very first organ to develop is the heart, and with Yoga classes resuming next week we thought it fitting to start with heart openers. Backbends bring the body back into balance and strengthen the back, shoulders, chest, and hips while improving mobility, and promoting good posture..
Join us at 9am on Monday or 5 :30pm Wednesday for Yoga. Pilates available Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:15am.

We are thrilled to have thrived through another year of movement with you all. Our Mind & Body family is constantly growing, and we would like to thank you all for your unwaivering support and dediction. Our classes finish up next week for the holiday break and we have the following classes on offer:

Our special Yogi Lisa will be bringing this to the community in December and there are now only 4 tickets left. A Big thanks to Kingborough Council for subsidising tickets to this beautiful offering including Gentle Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sound at the Kingborough community Hub. 🧘🏼

Enjoy a special wind down to the end of the year with a 75 minute community yoga class. The class will be taken by Lisa from Mind & Body Space and will include a sound bath and yoga nidra.
