Clinic Update: Opening Hours Hobart

We are very excited to share that we will now be expanding our opening hours at Sanctum Medical Aesthetics to accommodate for increasing demand. We understand how busy people are, and it can often be a struggle to fit in time for yourself around work schedules, families and other weekly commitments. Therefore, in order to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to take some time out to care for themselves, we will now extend our hours to:

Every Thursday night for Doctors and Nurses until 7pm.

Plus, we will now be offering access to treatments with Doctors and Nurses on Saturday's until 12pm.

Important Update - Changes to Advertising Cosmetic Injectables

As many of you are aware, The Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) has recently updated its guidance on advertising cosmetic injectables to ensure advertising rules are applied consistently across all industries that deal with prescription medications.

Although reference to specific medications have never been permitted, the TGA have historically allowed indirect references to prescription medications in advertising by using generic terms (i.e. anti-wrinkle injections, dermal filler, injectables). However this is no longer permitted. Additionally, the guidelines also prohibit the display of before and after images that promote prescription medication indirectly, as well as the inclusion of price lists on our website and booking system.

It should be remembered that these changes are being made through the lens of improving patient safety and providing ethical practice of cosmetic medicine. In light of these changes, you will see a shift in our social media content, website, and booking system.

For specific guidance on which prescription treatments are suitable for you, a consultation that considers your individual needs and goals will be required. During these consultations, our highly skilled team of doctors. nurses and dermal therapists will equip you with all the necessary information to make informed choices aligned with your goals. This includes discussing treatment options, pricing, and outcomes in person.

Please understand that we are not aiming to be vague or hide details regarding pricing and treatments from you; we are simply striving to comply with the new regulations.
We ask for your patience as we adapt to these modifications in the coming months.
