Round 2 of TCRC.
We started the weekend off with smashing a PB in qualifying. Qualified 4th.
First race we finished 3rd but got tough call against us and penalized putting us back to 7th for the next race. We pushed through and made our way back to 5th in the second race and up to 4th in the last 3 races comfortably.
Finishing 4th overall for the round. 👌🏻

Congrats to Oliver Wickham for his first race win and Jeremy Bennett for the round win!
Now to prepare for our next stop at BATHURST in 4 weeks!

Qualified 3rd ready for a good weekend of racing 🤙🏻

What a roller coaster of a weekend!

We pushed hard in qualifying and smashed out another PB and qualified 4th to start the weekend.
First race was tough battling all race with two other competitors to finish 3 across the line to officially finish in 4th.
Second race was one to remember. First lap getting turned just before the braking zone doing 160kmph certainly got the heart pumping. Once getting back on the track we were a solid last but we pushed on making good ground every lap to finish the race in 7th!
Third race we pushed and got ourselves to 3rd throughout the race to then get slight touch which unsettled the car and sent off the track on the last corner on the last lap finishing in 6th.
The last two races were the best and cleanest racing we have been involved in.
Going lap after lap fighting for position without touching with Midge Racing 79 to finish side by side across the line two races in a row to loose by a bumpers width both times.
Finishing up 5th overall for the round giving us a good bunch of championship points and receiving the outstanding achievement award along side Damien Midgley for our good clean racing.

After a solid practice day today we’re ready for the weekend at Symmons Plains Raceway! 🤙🏻

Finished off round 4 of TCRC on a high!

After yesterdays races all finishing in 3rd I stepped it up in this mornings race finishing 2nd, which was a pb for myself.
The last two races of the weekend I ended up finishing in 4th with a bloody good battle all race going for 3rd position.

Extremely happy with the results for the weekend.

Trying something different today out at Symmons Plains.
Our first Motorkhana in the S14.

The weather is really turning it on today for us, giving us a chance to loose traction.

What a day of racing!
First race of the day making our way from 6th to 3rd after some good close clean battles with Damien Midgley.
Second race of the day had us battling hard to keep our position before getting shunted off the track throwing us back to finish 7th.
Last race we pushed hard and just missing an incident at the hairpin before getting red flagged and having a full restart. We reset and went for it, aiming for consistency and a clean race we pushed and got ourselves to finish in 5th.

Finishing the round overall in 5th place.
Giving us a good bunch of points in the championship staying in 3rd position 🤙🏻

Successful first day at round 3.
After Qualifying 5th to start the weekend off and jumping up to 4th in the first race, we knew we had a solid car for the weekend.
Slight mistake in the second race had us drop back to 6th but had a good bit of pace to finish the race off with.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s 3 races starting at 10.38am. 🤙🏻

Final check over with a bit over a week until round 3 of TCRC and a successful practice day under our belt we’re ready to race 🤙🏻

Morning practise going well. Car is feeling really good apart from some slipping clutch issues.

Qualifying coming up after lunch with a little sprinkle of rain just to make this more interesting.
Out here at symmons plains on track until 9pm.

Sam’s S13 freshly serviced and wheel aligned ready for Island State Drift happening this weekend at symmons plain.
Heaps of action on track from 9am to 9pm. Make sure you come out and say hi 🤙🏻

Did a bit of hustling at TCRC round 2 just gone to finish up 4th overall for the round.

Keen to see what round 3 brings in July.

We would like to introduce Team Cooper Racing.

Cooper Racing is a family racing team involved in both circuit and drifting events.

Dylan Cooper is currently racing in the Hyundai Excel Series in the Tasmanian Circuit Racing Championship and after 2 rounds is currently sitting 3rd in the championship. Dylan came over to circuit racing after many years competing in Tasmanian drifting events.

Sam Harvey has been involved in drifting for 13 years and is currently competing in the Tasmanian series.
This year, Sam will be competing in her Nissan S13 at the upcoming Island State Drift events at Symmons Plains starting on the 27th of May.

Zoe Cooper, the youngest of the team and chief engineer has been involved in Motorsport from 1 month of age. Sleeps on the job regularly but always willing to give her input.
