We’ve been at it a while but are now proud to publicly announce that we’re fully set up to with two scanners, and a very healthy C41 machine!

We develop and scan in-house both colour, and black and white 35mm and 120 at $20 per roll including high quality scans.

So bring in your films!

Handed over keys today, no more shop! Have found a home for the film machine just waiting for a decent batch to run through to cover the chems.

Any Targa people I haven't got back to feel free to hassle me about it and I'll get it sorted in the next couple of days have been flat chat but set up a home office and will get stuck into anything outstanding.

Thanks to everyone for your support over the years, it's a shame to see it to go but excited to see what comes next.

Here clearing out for a couple of hours today, still got some things left so bring your wallet and come get some!

3 Days Left!

Stock starting to run very thin now, but it does all need to go so come in and grab a few things, the more the better! I can sort out a very good price.

Also have a counter, some display units, a bar fridge, and a 7 month old well looked after EOS 1300D single lens kit w/ box etc up for grabs.

Last day for printing will be tomorrow as we'll be dismantling the machine for shipping Thursday night.

Printer has been sold! So you can all quit asking about it 😜

Hopefully will be dismantled and taken on or very close to Friday the 28th of July (closing day) so I should still be printing right up until then.

I have a small backlog of jobs but catching up now so can and will still take on any large scanning, copying, converting work. I have some highly proficient lackeys at my disposal now too if required.

As for the C41 machine, that should hopefully be taken away on the 29th and things are starting to look promising, but everyone who is interested in keeping film alive down here please join the group and get discussion going about how many rolls you can commit to doing as whoever takes it on could really use this information.

Perfect Prints Hobart

After 35 years Perfect Prints will be closing the doors on July 28th.

I’ve tried my best to keep the shop running, but without Tim’s event photography it’s simply not been viable and it’s come time to close.

I want to thank everybody for supporting me over the past 2.5 years, and my Dad for the 30 odd before that. It’s been great working here I am sad to see it go, but it is time to move on.

Stock is all starting to run thin, but it does all have to go, so if you need anything then bring your wallet and we’ll talk!

As for any jobs copying or scanning negs/slides/photos, if you’re wanting me to do them then get organised and get them in soon, I put a lot of love, time, and care into this kind of work, and from what I’ve seen it is unmatched elsewhere.

Any Targa and Sydney to Hobart crew wanting prints or digital files for any of these events, message me on here or send an email to [email protected] so we can make a deal.

OK, so turns out there is already a group for Tassie film heads.

Can all of you please join this and sort out who wants to take the machine. It's a Noritsu QSS V30 SM and requires 20A single phase power and a place to put with decent ventilation.

I don't want any money for it just want to see it taken away and re-homed.

Machine will need to be taken away mid-late July.

I am happy to come help set it up and put fresh chems in (this would be in August when I actually will have some free time)

The chems required will be these, and I can get whomever in touch with the supplier (APS) I have some of the stuff but most will need ordering.

To make this viable you would want to be doing at least 20-30 rolls a week minimum so you will need to all get together to make this work.

Also if anyone knows who the Analogue luck guy is might want to hit him up about this too.
