We've got beautiful Rannoch Quail on the 3 course set menu this week in this favourite recipe of ours- pear, blue cheese salad with a honey and mustard dressing, delicious!
Bistro Opening this Friday ππΎ Lunch from 12 and dinner from 5pm.
Regular opening hours are lunch Thursday- Monday from 12 noon and dinner Friday and Saturday from 5PM

I loooove Rannoch Quaill, it is one of my favourite Tassie foods. It appears on most of my menus, apart from my Seafood Cooking workshop. I started the "Tasmanian Cooking Experience Workshop" so I could teach people how to cook other foods than seafood. There will still be seafood, of course, with Brendan being a fisherman and suppling the product so of course we want to promote that. but with this workshop we can cook other things too like the quail and wallaby, rabbit , venison , what I can source and what my booked guests request they want to learn. So many people say once they have seen me cook the quail they would buy to and try it again at home. Served here with a Campo De Flori honey and fermented seeded mustard dressing and apple and walnut salad.
