Every year more than 950 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer in Australia. With treatment starting instantly they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.

This year, we're taking part in Fight Cancer Foundation's Footy Colours Day to help these kids!

All the money we raise will help the Fight Cancer Foundation to provide accommodation and support for cancer patients and their families and fund vital life-saving research into cancer treatment and cures.

The accommodation centres offer families living with cancer a home away from home when they need it most, reducing the financial and emotional burden of a cancer diagnosis.

No woman should have to go through what this woman went through:

"When I was in a controlling relationship, my partner did not want me to use tampons. He would check each receipt to see what and how much I spent on shopping so sometimes, I would buy the cheaper brands rather than those I preferred and stuck with pads."

Unfortunately, she is not alone.

The Share the Dignity Bloody Big Survey found 1 in 3 people experiencing period poverty have experienced a violent relationship, domestic or family violence.

Period Poverty exists all across Australia but is most prevalent in Tasmania.

You can also help end period poverty this August by donating period products to our Dignity Drive.

Menstruating isn't a choice but those experiencing period poverty often have to choose between purchasing period products or other essential items just to get by.

They Shouldn't have to choose.
