With one less locally owned shop in Tasmania we really wanted to give a shoutout to Mother Goose Baby Shop in Kingston and Baby2Kids in Rosny. Over the years we have been blessed with a professional, respectful and friendly relationship between all 3 of us and I really wanted to give them both a huge shoutout for any of our customers who are wondering how they can still shop local.
Please help our community by sharing this post and heading over to there socials and giving them a like and share. Times are tough for a lot of people at the moment but simply sharing and commenting on posts is a free way of supporting local and trust me we get a smile when we see it.
With kids of my own I also know that sometimes we just cant make it into a shop but just know even when you go online you can still choose a Tasmanian business and you might even find their shipping cost and time to be better than a mainland store.
Its been nice to have the support and just have a nice chat with the owners of both these stores these last couple of weeks so let me say thanks to them by showing them some love.

I Didn't really want to come into the shop on a Saturday to do some cleaning but at least thanks to some kind person I was greeted with a message that let me start my day with a smile. Hopefully you see this post so I can say thank you.

Thank you all for you patience over the last day and a half. We have finally caught up with our online orders so we are able to open our shop back up for in store sales and browsing.

In the last 24 hours we have been overwhelmed with online orders so much so that we were unable to open our physical shop to browsers today. We are so grateful for all your purchases and at the same time we are extremely sorry to anyone that wasn't able to come into the shop today.

It looks like we may not be able to open tomorrow morning either as we still have online orders to pick from the floor stock and packed orders everywhere. We will be sure to let you know as soon as we are able to re open so please keep your eye on our socials, including stories before making the trip in.

Everyone has been so understanding and supportive and while we feel sad we were not able to let you in today to browse we cannot be more grateful for your understanding. We never expected such a volume of online sales so thank you all.

To all of you that have made a purchase, thank you so much, we have received well over 300! Any that need posting we will have them out ASAP and to anyone who has done a click and collect we just need to work out a system to be able to find your order quickly. We will be sending emails out to say they are ready as quickly as we can but please wait for the email before coming in.
