Uni has really started to impact my mental health, so during this time I’ve decided to do more art. Not serious stuff just doodles or whatever comes naturally. I’ve had tattoos on my mind a lot recently, so it makes sense that I’ve been doing more tattoo inspired designs. Minus the creepy portrait at the end. 😂 🖊️
My artwork and exhibition was mentioned in the Huon Newspaper (page 11 to be exact). 🗞️
Received a wonderful review regarding my latest exhibition on the Cygnet community page. Sadly only a few more days left to see the exhibition!

I’ve been sick for a few weeks now - a trigeminal neuralgia flare up. 🤒 But I am so thankful to my husband, mother in law and father in law they all arranged to have my mixed media artwork titled “Palawa Man” to be flown to Flinders Island. The artwork was exhibited in the Islander Portrait Prize for the Furneaux Islands Festival, it was great to see my artwork alongside other pieces from talented individuals. 🎨

Hi everyone,
I have some of my artwork at Gallerie SeventyOne
We’ve had such a wonderful response to the “Know my Name” exhibition with lots of people in to visit and lots of lovely comments about the work!
We’ve decided to extend the exhibition until Sunday 27 so if you still haven’t had time to see the exhibition you can now!
Here I am with my two artworks titled:
'Where The Eucalyptus Is' and 'Find me amongst the Eucalyptus Trees.' I enjoyed the opening of the exhibition inspired by the Know My Name exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia in 2021 and the associated campaign to place the spotlight on female artists throughout history including the present day, Know Their Names is an exhibition of works by over 30 emerging female and non-binary artists based in lutruwita/Tasmania.
.
The exhibition runs from Friday 28 January to Sunday 13 February 2022. It would be great to see you there!💜

I made more progress on this artwork titled “Lost in the eucalyptus forest” using high quality fine liners. I am hoping to get a series of these created for an upcoming exhibition. 🍃
Loved creating these miniature paintings of the birth flower for November - chrysanthemum. Created with my special blending pens and fine liner. 💐
I can do various flowers as a special gift for a birthday!
$20.
First post in a long while, my absence away from social media posting has been deliberate.
I needed a break away from it, and focussed on the process and enjoyment of art itself. This break for me has been very therapeutic, and I have been very busy with a plethora of new artworks that I hope to possibly link to my PhD into the future. Happy looking! And stay tuned for more regular updates from me. 😆
