The Tasmanian Government has launched a rebate program for e-mobility devices. The program is a national first and aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport, particularly daily commuting. Rebates up to 12% off the purchase of an e-bike capped at $500 can be enjoyed by customers who apply for the rebate. The initiative is a first come, first serve basis so be quick. We sat down with our very own mechanic Tom Cheesman after earlier this week he was selected to represent Australia in the XCO World Championship. Here’s what he had to say 👇🏼

What’s your favorite event you’ve participated in so far?
TC - The Hellfire Cup, it had a great atmosphere and there was some awesome racing.

What do you enjoy most about the Tassie riding scene?
TC - The people within the community and the support in which they have all shown me.

Why do you love the Scott Spark RC?
TC - The stiffness and responsiveness, especially when putting power through the pedals.

What’s your favorite mid ride snack?
TC - Stroopwafel

How will you prepare for the World Championship?
TC - Training my butt off both on and off the bike. Lots of strength and conditioning training as well.
