CHIROPRACTIC PROVIDES QOL BENEFITS FOR OFFICE WORKERS, STUDY SHOWS. A study undertaken by researchers from Bahçeşehir University in Türkiye has concluded that the provision of chiropractic care can help office workers suffering with non-specific musculoskeletal pain.

The cross-sectional study involved 77 health workers aged 18-65 reporting neck, thoracic back and/or extremity pain. Each underwent two weeks of chiropractic care and completed a self-administered World Health Organization Quality of Life survey (https://www.who.int/tools/whoqol).

Dimensions of general health, physical health, psychological health, social health and environmental health were measured, all of which decreased overall. The investigators concluded that chiropractic care had a positive effect on the quality of life of health workers.
