Hello to our RACF residents and family.

We have now sent the consent form for the 2024 flu vaccine clinic to these facilities:

- Infin8 Care
- Riverview Gardens
- Milford Grange
- Villa Maria

Please ask the facility for a consent form or call the rooms on 07 3447 0402 for a direct email.

We can place orders for the vaccine from early April.

We will coordinate a clinic date with each of the facilities once we have the list of residents confirmed and the vaccine has arrived.

Our community is currently experiencing a 170% increase in whooping cough cases.

Pertussis (whooping cough) is a respiratory illness caused by the bacteria Bordetella pertussis. Pertussis can affect people of any age. While the pertussis vaccination greatly reduces the risk of disease, there is still a chance a person could get pertussis even if they are fully vaccinated.

We have several schools managing large-scale outbreaks.
