Let’s raise a glass to our amazing MAN IN BOTH CHAIRS - ADRIAN CARR.

Our wonderful Director, Man in Chair and co founder of Swich Up Productions. After months of planning, rehearsing and moulding The Drowsy Chaperone into a professional, and magical production, designing and building sets, sourcing and making props and incredibly doing the marketing, graphic design and and managing social media, Adrian was thrown a curve ball and had to take on the lead role of Man in Chair with just 12 days to opening.

The last week prior to opening night of a production is the most hectic for a director and it was an astonishing feat to learn all of the lines bump in our incredible set, plot lights and fine tune our wonderful show and be ready for opening night. For those of you who were lucky enough to see our almost sold out production of The Drowsy Chaperone we are sure you will be astounded to learn the above.

You may also know that Adrian is a well regarded performer and director with over 100 productions under his belt. Most recently Adrian was Juror 3 in 12 Angry Jurors with ILT, Buddy in We Will Rock You and Major General in Pirates of Penzance with IMTC and Gyp DeCarlo and others in Jersey Boys at Star Casino. Adrian directed SUP’s inaugural production of It’s a Wonderful Life and Mother and Son at IMTC.

As a co-founder of Swich Up Productions, Simone has been instrumental in bringing this show to life. Not only is she the musical mastermind behind the scenes, but she's also been juggling a million tasks, from costume coordination to assisting in managing the production, she has also sourced props, painted sets, and stepped up to be the directors eyes in the last few weeks of rehearsal. Seriously, this woman is a superhero!

With a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice and a wealth of experience in both choral conducting and musical theatre, Simone is a true musical powerhouse. Her passion for sharing her knowledge has helped countless people discover their love for music. 💜🎶

Let’s give a huge round of applause to Simone for all her hard work and dedication!
