Congratulations to Christine Young for winning the Womens Crisis Support Service raffle. She was so excited and so appreciative of the quilt that there were not too many dry eyes at the presentation!

Chit Chatter

I am driving to my daughters wedding this week, so the Country Quilt Co will be closed on Thursday Afternoon and on Friday. Darryl will have things running smoothly on Saturday and then it is back to business as usual on Tuesday 20th. I am so excited!!!

Due to a full day power outage, the Country Quilt Co will be closed on Tuesday 23rd of August.

Look at the beautiful work Ann has done on her beginners quilt! From a nervous start to a fabulous finish, Ann was a lot of fun in this class. 😉

Our machine mechanic, David, is moving! Get your sewing machine in to the Country Quilt Co quick if you want it serviced within the next 2 weeks. Once he has moved - well, I don't have a replacement mechanic lined up. Only $120 for a complete service.
I will be sad to see him leave. 🥹

Fabulous show and tell from Rosemary this morning.

Today I am on a finish-it-off-and-stop-feeling-guilty mission. My aim is to finish 2 quilts by the end of next week so that they can be sent off to the quilters and I can get back to what I really want to do... Wool embroidery. Yep, embellishing chickens and dots with wool and beads = my happy place. Show me what you are working on. Is your creative space as disorganised/organised as mine?

Linda Kelly was awarded 5 (yes 5!!!) awards for her fabulous work.
Both ladies are so talented and we could not be prouder of them if we tried.
