Ten Little Speckled Frogs was the story of the fortnight and the children had lots of fun exploring number, colour and all things frogs.

We cooked blue play dough together for the “frog pond” and enjoyed measuring, counting, pouring and mixing the ingredients.

With the cooler winter weather, our little frog pond sensory play table was enjoyed inside where frogs jumped and splashed as they lept into the water as they were counted.

We have welcomed more new classmates seeing each group growing in size. Welcome to our new friends!

Wow what a great term we have had!

We finished the last fortnight with the story “the very hungry caterpillar” and we had so much fun!

The children particularly loved the spray bottle and butterfly painting as well as exploring magnifying glasses and making gardens.

Wishing all our ECDP families a very happy and safe break and we look forward to seeing you again for term 3.

What a busy NAIDOC week we have had! We have had Dreamtime story books read most mornings in different areas, Bremer SHS Indigenous Dance Troupe perform 4 dances, Forest School fire pit experience for three sectors, watched our own ISS indigenous dance troupe, colouring in competition, art work created as a school and celebrations ended today with an indigenous feast held in E block undercover area. The whole school contributed and enjoyed a unique indigenous feast and food like crocodile pizza, kangaroo casserole, scrambled emu eggs and lemon myrtle biscuits were on the menu. Thank you everyone for participating in the activities and for making the last week of school fun and engaging. Hope you all have a safe and fun holiday.

🎉 Today was PBL Petting Zoo Day at our school! Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) sets the stage for great classroom management, benefiting student learning, wellbeing, and behavior.
Students had a blast celebrating their positive behavior from this semester. They danced at a disco, enjoyed a sausage sizzle, played with bubbles, and had the chance to pet adorable baby animals, thanks to Viv's Farm Animals who brought a wonderful variety of animals for everyone to enjoy.

Congratulations to all our students for their outstanding behavior this semester! 🌟
