Officially Yours Celebrancy
Being a hopeless romantic, a lover of love and family and a proud supporter of the LGBTI community,
It’s with great sadness that I must press pause on my Celebrancy business for a while due to a major change in circumstances. Thankyou to my wonderful clients and colleagues who have been so understanding and supportive.
It’s a beautiful day for a wedding. Today I’m marrying Ashleigh and Will in a bush setting and afterwards I’ll be the MC at their ceremony.
I arrived at my couple’s house for their rehearsal empty handed and almost walked out with a new fur baby. When your Bride is a vet nurse, you know you need to be strong or she’ll load you up with foster babies 🐾😻
I met Jarrod and Tash a few years ago at a dog event. I put Jarrod on the spot about marrying his beautiful girl and 2 years later he called me to say he had finally popped the question and they wanted me to be their celebrant. Throw in a few postponements for covid and the crushing of all hope that the kiwi rellies and friends could make it over to celebrate and here I am hitching this awesome couple 1 day before their 9 year anniversary.
Planning to get married on Valentine’s Day? You only have a couple of days to lodge your Notice Of Intended Marriage with me. So get cracking. Call or message me and let’s get you hitched on Feb 14.
I know it’s cliché, but, WOW what a year! This year saw the long awaited weddings of my first covid lockdown postponement couples. I had the absolute honour of marrying not one, but two couples I’ve known since they were in preschool, which also meant one of my sons ‘came to work with Mummy’ at the ripe old age of 28 🤣I think there’s footage of us dancing together on a table 🤷♀️ I’ve encountered some of the finest wedding bloopers and laughed all the way home about them. I managed to fit in a major surgery and long recovery and I’m grateful to my beautiful couples who checked in on me 💜 Next year is already looking very exciting and I can’t wait to start hitching my couples and spreading the love.
There’s no hiding the excitement and fun that everyone had at Jimbob and Mel’s wedding. Between the laughter and the sweet tears, there wasn’t a dry eye to be found. Check out the two sweeties who were the witnesses. It doesn’t get much cuter than this.

It doesn’t get much more country than the bridal party rocking up to a paddock wedding in utes. Laura and Zac exchanged their vows surrounded by 360° of country views.
Ebony and Mathew’s wedding ceremony was full of laughter and some of the best bloopers I’ve ever witnessed at a wedding. This is one day I won’t ever forget.
Today I’m marrying one of the happiest, funniest couples I’ve ever met. Mel and Jimbob are the last of my original COVID couples to finally marry.
Today I’m marrying 2 of the happiest, funniest couples I’ve ever met. Mel and Jimbob are the last of my original COVID couples to finally have their big day.
Weddings are always exciting, but getting to work alongside your industry faves makes it even more wonderful. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of creating wedding magic with the lovely Grace from
It’s wedding season and I’m super excited to be back after my post surgery break. Check out the beautiful setting for Zac and Laura’s wedding.
It’s wedding season and I’ve jumped right into rehearsals. It’s hardly work when there’s horsing around involved. Watch this space for a gorgeous country wedding next weekend.
What do you do on a post-lockdown rainy day during school holidays? You take the family to meet your Celebrant and her dachshunds. The girls want to come back again tomorrow 😆

Don’t spill the sand Jo. We’ll never find it in this lot.
I had a meeting with one of my lovely couples today at It was so awesome to have ABBA playing while we drank our cuppa and signed paperwork. I’m pretty sure they’re still there checking out all the fabulous antiques.
I honestly have the best job in the world. Today I spent my afternoon barefoot on the beach with an amazing group of people and we laughed, listened to awesome music, shared some beautiful moments together and now we’re off to party together at the tavern.
If your Celebrant doesn’t instigate wedding pics like this.......then you’ve chosen the wrong Celebrant.

Good news. Queensland weddings can go ahead with social distancing in place. Masks must be worn but the bridal party may take them off for photos. Only the bride and groom are permitted to dance.
Oh what a fantastic wedding. ♥️

I had the honour of Marrying Tim and Michelle at a private ceremony at Somerset Dam on their 5th anniversary. Due to the rain they utilised their plan B which turned out to be stunning. Tim is my son’s best friend from childhood so it was wonderful to have my son as the Best Man.

Wedding rehearsals can be a fun way to ease those last minute nerves. Today was a great example of this. Great water views, lots of laughs and even a beautiful butterfly came to visit.
