Kids at West Moreton Health had a visit from IHF's very own Captain America and Wonder Woman to celebrate the donation of four boxes of the incredible Super Tees.

Designed by Supertee founder Jason Sotiris as a cool and colourful shirt that features superheroes, the Super Tee is an innovative medical garment designed for kids in long-term hospital care.

A massive thank you and shout out to Super Tee for bringing a smile to lots of little faces during Book Week 2024!

This week, the IHF team were delighted to receive an incredibly generous donation of $2,000 from the Ipswich Parents and Old Boys.

During the recent Swanbank-E Power Station C5 Major Inspection, the team held a BBQ for 300 night and day shift workers, and raised an incredible $1,286.30 for Ipswich Hospital Foundation

Hair loss due to cancer treatment or conditions such as alopecia can make a person feel vulnerable, self-conscious, angry or anxious.

Ipswich Hospital Foundation Wig Lounge offers a supportive environment to help boost self-confidence for patients who are experiencing hair loss.

The IHF Wig Lounge offers an extensive range of:

🧣Scarves
❤️Help, support and guidance from IHF's trained volunteers

Patients undergoing hair loss due to cancer treatment or conditions such as Alopecia are provided the opportunity to visit our lounge and choose a product they can keep.

This service is offered at no cost, and all wigs & headwear are supplied to individuals free of charge.

It has arrived! Thank you to the incredible generosity and support from everyone who attended the Kalbar Sunflower Festival 2024 we successfully raised funds to purchase a much-needed palliative care cuddle bed for Boonah Hospital! 🛏️❤️
This special double-sized cuddle bed will provide comfort and closeness for patients and their loved ones during the most challenging time of their lives. This bed will allow for more comforting final moments, ensuring that patients and their families experience love and connection when it matters the most during end-of-life care.

We are so proud to be able to provide this wonderful resource for the people in our community and in honour of our dear sunflower man Russell Jenner.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who attended the festival, donated, bought raffle tickets and flowers, volunteered and offered support in any way. Your contribution made this happen and it will have a lasting impact on many lives and highlights our continued efforts in our mission of .

BIG HELP FOR TINY PATIENTS 👼❤️🍼

Thanks to a successful grant from Children's Hospital Foundation Ipswich Hospital Foundation is thrilled to share that the Special Care Nursery at Ipswich Hospital has received some special new equipment to provide extra care for the littlest and most vulnerable patients.

The Panda Infant Resuscitaire helps to enhance care for newborns who need some additional help with their breathing, while keeping them warm and minimising handling. This equipment will benefit countless newborns when they need it most, just like baby Noreen who was born at the Ipswich Hospital in early June 2024.

IHF has partnered with Containers for Change QLD to raise funds for healthcare closer to home.

Getting involved is easy - just collect your eligible containers, return them to a Containers for Change QLD recycling centre, or arrange a home pick up, then choose to donate your refund to Ipswich Hospital Foundation using the member number C10119921.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR NEWBORNS AND THEIR FAMILIES 👼❤️

Following a successful grant application to the Courier Mail & Queensland Newspapers Children's Fund, Ipswich Hospital Foundation is excited to share that four Bilistick Systems have been funded that will make testing for jaundice faster and less stressful for new bubs and their families.

The man who ran the world heads to Park2Park this Sunday 🏃‍♀️👟☀️

Tim Franklin, the man who literally ran around the world to raise funds for charity, is getting set to run this Sunday at the 20th annual Park2Park fun run hosted by Ipswich Hospital Foundation (IHF) and presented by UniSQ.

After running across five continents, 19 countries, and clocking up almost 27,000 kilometers over 576 days, ‘the man who ran the world’ will head to Bill Paterson Oval bright and early this weekend to take part in Park2Park.

Fans can meet Tim (and snap a cheeky selfie) at Park2Park Sunday 28 July 2024.
