Hello Everyone

My name is Cecilia and I am the new owner at Gipsy Boy. Thanks Kacie and Bekki for showing me the ropes. I am very excited to have this opportunity to continue the work that Kacie and Bekki have been doing for Gipsy Boy for the last 10 years. It is still be the same café shop that you know and love. There will be nothing much changed but hopefully in the short future, you will be able to see some new wonderful additions at Gipsy Boy. Let’s start the new chapter together!

THANK YOU. Words cannot express the love and gratitude we have for you all for your beautiful support of our first baby, Gipsy Boy, the past 10 years. But all good things must come to an end and it is with heavy (but very full) hearts that we would like to let you all know we have sold the cafe.

It has been a bloody wonderful adventure for us but it is time to pass the baton on. We are both mothers of young children and it is time for us to embrace that and have some much needed family time. We have entered the world of Saturday morning sports so please wish us luck 😂

Thank you to our staff members (past and present) for being superstars and the beautiful humans that they are. Thank you to our families and husbands for helping us and putting up with us (and putting us back together) and running to the shops for ice and rocket.

Thank you to our parents. Thank you Dad for helping make our vision a reality and always being there to fix anything that breaks (including us) even at the expense of your hair going grey. Thank you to our mother, the Nin, the GOAT. We wouldn’t be where we are without you. You are an absolute legend and thank you for your never ending help and support (and babysitting). We love you.

Lastly we have one more special thank you to one of our ‘Day One’s. Thank you to Dan from Micrology and his wonderful staff members - you guys are absolute legends and have always gone above and beyond for us!

Please be super patient with us as we introduce you all to the new owners in the coming week and show them the ropes. Our last day of running the cafe will be Saturday 27th April. This isn’t goodbye though guys, we will all be sticking around to make give you your coffee and French toast fix 🤎
