Nothing makes me prouder than seeing our students soar!

Lily Boisvert started her journey with Roper Tutoring Co. when she was in Year 7. It makes me feel that much older knowing that she will be starting her final set of ATAR exams next week.

Supporting her throughout her high school journey has been a privilege, but learning that she has already been accepted into a Bachelor of Film and Television at Bond University was a definite high note. The icing on the cake, is that Lily has been offered the Vynka Hohnen Scholarship, funding 100 per cent of her $97,000 course fees.

Well Facebook, it’s been a minute since I’ve posted, it has been such an exciting and busy time at Roper Tutoring Co. and our full focus has been on the progression of our amazing students. But there are new families joining us at our Kalamunda Centre every week, so I wanted to introduce myself, check in with you all and post an updated photo, I was overdue!

As my name suggests, I’m Rob the Director and Founder of Roper Tutoring Co. I am a dad to two beautiful boys and run this business with my wife Grace. We are the definition of busy, juggling small children and small business ownership, but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

This community of ours has continued to grow steadily through all of the challenges this past 18 months has placed on small business owners. Roper Tutoring Co. is more than surviving, we are thriving and supporting more students than ever to reach their academic goals.

Being in front of a white board teaching is my happy place, it’s where I am meant to be. As a qualified Primary and Secondary Level 3 Classroom Teacher, I’ve taught across both the public and private education sectors and at the tertiary level. I understand what students need to get results and what type of environment maximises their achievement.

This is why I created Roper Tutoring Co. I saw a need for a place where students can work in small collaborative groups while also receiving individualised attention and support. I saw the need for tutors who are experts in their fields, fully qualified teachers with extensive classroom experience, capable of supporting the needs of each child while delivering dynamic and impactful learning experiences. Most importantly, I saw a need to create a place that encourages and inspires students to simply love to learn and discover self-confidence beyond the classroom.

I am so proud of the place we have created, the tutors who teach here and the students who kick goals here every single week.
