This week we updated "Hope in a Suitcase" on the donations that we have been receiving from our generous customers, staff and friends, and this is the amazing response we received back for the Founder of the charity. 🫶

Our donation bins will be out for another 20 days before we collect all the essential items for kids that have been donated and pass them over to the team that makes a real difference in Foster Care kids' lives. This will include the 16 cases we have put together from our centres and the full case that River 94.9 donated.

Did you know that 70 suitcases headed across Brisbane and the Gold Coast yesterday to Child Safety agencies alone. 🙏

If you can, we ask for you to pick up one extra item in your shopping this week that a child would need if they had nothing and pop it into our donation bins outside our centre supermarket. 👕🧦🩲🩳👚📕✏️🪥🧸

🎉We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with Hope in a suitcase-Australia and we are asking for help to provide much needed essential items to fill a suitcase for every child that is entering Foster or Out of Home care.

Hope in a Suitcase packs are filled with new clothing, pyjamas, underwear, toiletries, toys, books, and school supplies to support local children in emergency housing, foster and displaced children. Giving children their very own suitcase to pack their belongings in, showing them that their lives are worth more than a plastic bag. 🎒

You can help by dropping new items into the donation bin located near the entrance to Coles.
