The Kiama and District Business Chamber would like to congratulate Joan Comber of Comber Optometry on a wonderful career. Joan has decided to step back from her business this Sunday.

The Comber family have operated an optometry business in Kiama since 1977, making it one of the oldest family run businesses in the Kiama LGA.

Joan and her family have made a huge contribution to the local community over the years, in business and in many other ways. Our community has been truly blessed to have Joan and the Combers as part of its fabric for so long.

We wish Joan all the best in whatever she chooses to do next.

She has been dot painting for about four years and is excited to share her culture and talent with everyone. Each of her paintings represents either her country and her Kamilaroi mob or holds personal symbolism through intricate designs.
