Last week Live Safe Education delivered a 60 minute personal safety workshop for the Melbourne staff from Dentons Legal Firm.

We have received some great feedback from the staff that attended with a 100% of those that completed our post workshop survey saying that they feel more confident about their personal safety and that they would like additional LiveSafe workshops.

Recently Live Safe Education ran a 2-hour personal safety workshop for Drs and admin staff of the The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

We were approached to deliver this workshop after staff of the RCH has expressed concerns about their safety arriving to and leaving from work as well as (sadly) some concerning incidents during their shifts. The staff were incredibly engaged during the workshop and took away some valuable, and easily implementable, strategies and techniques to increase their personal safety. The smile on their faces when learning the practical techniques was priceless.

The staff and students at the above school/companies have something else in common. They work for a company or attend a school that truly values them and shows this by investing in their safety.

We truly love meeting, engaging and working with such interesting people across such diverse demographics.

Last week Live Safe Education ran a session for the awesome staff of C Care https://www.facebook.com/ccare.org.au

C Care is a leading front-line community organisation supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and social isolation. They provide in excess of 2000 meals a day to those in need.

However, the fantastic work that the staff and volunteers from C Care do comes with some inherent safety concerns. It was a privilege to provide our 2-hour Personal Safety session to their staff on a pro bono basis as part of our not-for-profit arm of LiveSafe Education.

We get a real high from supporting and giving to those that truly give back to the community.

Brisbane was the final stop of our East Coast tour delivering Live Safe Education sessions for the Property Managers from McGrath Estate Agents.

The Brisbane participants were a great group to work with. They were really engaging and, as with all LiveSafe sessions, we had a lot of fun while delivering vital information and training which the Property Managers truly appreciated and found practical and relevant both in their working capacity and personal lives.

Last week Live Safe Education ran a half day workshop for the property managers of McGrath Estate Agents Melbourne office.

The workshop focussed on the full LiveSafe Model of Personal Safety and how it applies to the McGrath Estate Agents property managers both specifically when working as well as in their personal lives out of company time.

The presentation on Avoidance and Prevention strategies was well received and the self defence component covering the "Effective Escape" Stage was fun, engaging, full of laughs and adds an awesome team building element on top of the vital, effective and practical skills taught.

The staff really appreciated their company investing in providing this training and education for them which will contribute to keeping them safer while doing their job as well as in their personal lives 24/7.

This week we will be travelling to Sydney and Brisbane to provide the same training to the McGrath Estate Agents property managers in those centres.

Last week LiveSafe Education ran a personal safety session with the awesome staff of AutoGrab

The session comprised of a presentation on the LiveSafe Model of Personal Safety, focusing on Avoidance and Prevention Strategies.
We then took advantage of the sun being out and went onto the rooftop courtyard to run the self defence component of the session that provides techniques and strategies for the Effective Escape stage of the personal safety model.

We truly love working with companies that genuinely care about their staffs' wellbeing both during and out of company time. The staff at AutoGrab were engaging and a great team to teach. We all had a lot of fun and good laughs while learning effective and practical strategies to stay safe.

LiveSafe Education ran a session for the awesome staff of Bowser Bean in Melbourne last week.

The staff were fantastic and it is clear that Bowser Bean has created an incredible working environment for their staff. This is clearly exemplified by their appetite to invest in providing a session like this for their office staff as an exercise in team building and engagement. Added to this is the concern they show for their staff by bringing LiveSafe Education in to conduct this session to improve their staffs' ability to keep themselves safe, not just during company time but 24/7.

The company and the staff were a joy to work with. I love seeing the smiles on the faces of the participants during and after the sessions.

Great session today for the staff of LongView

This was a 60 minute session that comprised of a presentation on the LiveSafe Model of Personal Safety (and how it relates specifically to the staff of Longview) and some basic self defence techniques on creating space or time to make an effective escape.

We love working with companies that truly value and care about their staff and invest in providing their staff the skills to keep themselves safe, not only on "company time" but 24/7.

It was great to run multiple personal safety sessions for the Year 9 students at Mount Hira College.
Over the sessions the students learnt multiple self defence techniques appropriate for different environments. The students were taken through the LiveSafe Model of Personal Safety and given techniques and strategies to avoid having to use self defence in the "Avoidance" and "Prevention" stages of the model.
