Repurposed wool blankets are now available in limited supply. Pure wool on one side, 100% cotton on the other. Approx 76cm x 96cm - the perfect size for a cot or pram. Or even a lap rug for big kids like us 😄.

I will have some available at the Tassie maker’s market on Saturday along with some other pieces. Come and see me and my roomie at our shared stall, we’d love to meet you! ☺️

A few hot minutes later and we are back!

Our family had a lovely time away over holidays. When we got back I sent the machines away for some well overdue r&r (aka servicing!). They are now back on my sewing desk, and we are doing what we do best❤️.

Pattern hack!

I used a basic T-shirt pattern to create a puffy-sleeve jumper for Penny. Needs a slight tweak but otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the result😍.

Rib knit✨

If ya know, ya know ✊.
All. The. Stretch.

These three pairs I pulled from Penny's wardrobe to show you how much we love rib ❤️. The mustards get worn twice as much and are holding up nicely under the strain of a newly empowered crawler. The pink rib is actually scrap fabric I scored from a thrift shop 🙌.

Leggings are fairly easy to make, even for a beginner sewer, so if you have a machine, it's totally worth a crack! Although, I'd recommend starting with a jersey before moving to rib, as sewing machines tend not to love stretchy-mcstretch-pants like we do, and can be contrary 😂.

Have been quiet on the Gram, lately, but not so my machines. We are busy prepping for the next upcoming market and I'm so excited to share that I managed to get my hands on the last of both these bolts of May Gibbs fabric! 🎉🎉

Florals are not my thang, usually, but who can say "nay" to May?? 

Not too many of my lovely customers from the last market, either, as it turned out, so I've endeavoured to build a small stash.
