Hi everyone,

First, we want to say a massive thank you to all of you who have continued to support us, even in the midst of this cost of living pressure that we are all experiencing. Your support means more to us than we could ever fully express!

We will be adjusting our opening hours for the month of August to catch our breath and prepare for this spring and summer season.

We will be closed every Friday through August, but we will be open every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. We will be back to our usual 5 days per week in the first week of September.

During this time we will be revising our menu, and also taking applications for new staff members to grow our team as we prepare for our busy season. If you or someone you know has hospitality industry experience and is available to be rostered anywhere from 10:30am-5:30pm Wed-Sun, either email a resume to [email protected] or drop one in during opening hours.

Hi everyone,

Due to the double whammy of staff illness and a pre-existing food van event, we will be unable to run the cafe today. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and look forward to welcoming you back tomorrow.

We've been listening to customer feedback and, with the weather turning blustery and winter making an appearance, we are putting a couple of often-requested items on our menu as specials.

First we have Chilli loaded fries. Our tasty fries, dusted with our signature salt, smothered in slow cooked chili con carne, grated cheese and sour cream is sure to get those tastebuds working overtime!

And for those looking for something quick and easy, why not add a slice of our freshly baked cake of the day to your hot drink for only $2.

With the cost of living pinching so many people, we are beyond grateful to each person who chooses to come in store and buy our products. But supporting us is also as easy as liking or sharing our posts, and that costs nothing. However you are able to support us, you are the true superstars that help us keep doing what we are doing! Thanks to everyone who continues to support us in whatever way they can!

Money can't buy happiness, but it CAN buy ice cream - and that's pretty much the same thing!

But what's even better is getting something for free!

We want to thank all the mums out there for everything they do, all the sacrifices they make that are all too often unrecognised. NEW FLAVOUR LAUNCH!!!

Just in time for Mothers Day, we are launching a new, limited time flavour that is sure to tantalise tastebuds - but be warned, this treat is for adults-only!

We have tossed and turned over deciding on a name for this ice cream, and have finally decided on something that sums it up extremely well...

Introducing "Is It Bedtime Yet?"

Made with the signature fair trade coffee beans from the amazing team at , an almost indecent slug of the finest 8 year-old Kentucky bourbon, and overflowing with bitter-sweet chocolate chunks, this ice cream is an explosion of flavour that has so many layers of complexity it is hard to describe!

Make sure you come to the cafe to try this truly indulgent flavour before stocks run out... on display from Mothers Day until sold out!

And that's a wrap on Agfest for 2024! We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful customers who came and supported us over the last 3 days.

With very few exceptions, everyone was so understanding and kind when the queues became long, which was definitely appreciated.

We look forward to seeing many of you again soon, and hopefully at Agfest next year as well!

Cafe opens today 11am-5pm as well, just in case you didn't get enough of an ice cream fix... and we will have a special new flavour announcement coming in the next couple of days!!

Agfest Day 3 - last day of Agfest for 2024... and the fog has rolled in on an otherwise cloudless day, so it could be the nicest day of sunshine in the entire 2024 Agfest season!! If you're at Agfest today, make sure you pop on over to Quercus Taste 1 (corner Second and North) to grab an ice cream or sorbet before we are out of stock!!

Cafe is also open from 11am until 5pm today, so if you're in Launceston we still have you covered for all your ice cream needs.

Day 2 of Agfest - the sun is shining, the waffle machine is warmed up, and the freezer is full to bursting with our delicious ice creams and sorbets! If you're coming to Agfest, make sure to pop over to Quercus Taste 1 (corner of North and Second) to say hi.

Another beautiful day on our Village Green, with stallholders here and setting up for Day 2 of the Festival.

A few extra things happening today with Maypole dancing by the local Westbury Primary School students. And horse and carriage rides.

The exhibition in the Town Hall is open 10am to 4pm. And the history tours will be happening again.

Thanks to Kinetic Tasmania for adding 2 more busses today and tomorrow for transfers between venues!

We have had thousands of tickets purchased at the gates (rather than online).

It caught us a bit by surprise, but Kinetic have jumped in as part of their sponsorship and added more busses for the extra capacity. It's been amazing seeing so many people attending after a challenging few years!
